OnRake App Review 2026: Download, Features & Real Test Results

05.11.2026, 08:23

The OnRake app arrived with almost no fanfare, which is usually how it goes with crypto-first brands launched in 2026. Our Tips.GG editorial team spent roughly three weeks with it: real account, real deposits, real bets placed on cricket and esports, withdrawal requests submitted and tracked, support pinged at odd hours just to see who answers. No demo mode, no screenshots borrowed from a press kit.

What we found is a mobile product that leans hard into local payment habits (bKash, Nagad, JazzCash, EasyPaisa) and stablecoin deposits, wrapped around three separate sportsbook engines. That last part surprised us. Most new operators pick one provider and call it a day. OnRake gives you IBC Sports plus two exchange-style books, 9Wicket and BetsWiz, all inside the same wallet.

It isn't flawless. Live streaming is missing entirely, and licensing transparency left us uneasy at points. More on both below.

Quick Overview of the OnRake App

Before the installation walkthrough, here's the short version of what the app actually does and how it scored across our testing categories. We rate everything out of 5.

⭐ Overall App Score Decent for a first-year brand 3.8 / 5

Minimum deposit sits around the ₮10 mark on crypto, which is low enough that testing costs almost nothing. Maximum withdrawal per day is listed at ₮99,999, a ceiling most users will never touch.

How to Download & Install the OnRake App

Two paths, and they're not equal. Android users get a genuine installable application via APK. iOS users get a progressive web app that behaves like a native build once pinned to the home screen. We tested both on a Pixel 7 and an iPhone 13.

One thing to get straight first: don't download the APK from a random mirror site. We checked three third-party APK aggregators during research and two of them hosted outdated builds with mismatched package signatures. Use the operator's own download page.

Downloading the OnRake App on Android

The Android route is the better experience, full stop. Push notifications work, biometric login works, and the app remembers your preferred sportsbook engine between sessions. Install took us under two minutes on a normal 4G connection.

App Installation via Google Play Store

Google's policy on real-money gambling apps is restrictive in most South Asian markets, so OnRake is not listed on the Play Store in the regions it targets. If you search for it there, you'll find unrelated poker-adjacent titles. Ignore them.

Should Play Store distribution open up later (it does happen, Google loosened rules in a handful of countries), the process would be the usual: search, tap Install, open. For now, APK is the only Android route.

How to Install via APK file

  • Open the OnRake site in Chrome on your Android phone
  • Scroll to the footer and tap the Android / mobile app icon
  • Confirm the download when Chrome flags the file type
  • Go to Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps, pick Chrome, toggle Allow
  • Tap the downloaded .apk in your notification shade or Files app
  • Press Install, wait ~20 seconds, then Open
  • Register or log in, enable fingerprint unlock when prompted

Our test install weighed in under 30 MB, which is light. The app doesn't bundle the casino library locally, it streams game assets on demand, so the initial footprint stays small and the first casino load is slightly slower. Trade-off we're fine with.

Downloading the OnRake App on iOS

There's no App Store listing. Apple is even stricter than Google with offshore-licensed gambling operators, and a Curaçao licence alone won't get you through review in most storefronts. So iOS runs on a web app.

  • Open Safari (not Chrome, the Add to Home Screen flow behaves differently)
  • Load the OnRake site
  • Tap the Share icon at the bottom
  • Choose Add to Home Screen
  • Rename it if you want, tap Add
  • Launch from the new icon, it opens fullscreen without Safari chrome

Honestly? The PWA was better than we expected. Face ID doesn't integrate, you re-enter credentials or rely on iCloud Keychain, and push notifications are unreliable on older iOS builds. Everything else, bet placement, cashier, live markets, felt identical to Android.

System Requirements & Compatibility

Low bar on both sides. That's intentional given the target markets, where mid-range and older devices dominate.

Android System Requirements

Spec Minimum Recommended
OS Version Android 6.0 Android 10+
RAM 2 GB 4 GB
Free Storage ~80 MB 200 MB
Connection 3G 4G / Wi-Fi
Permissions Storage, unknown sources + biometrics, notifications

We sideloaded onto a 2 GB Redmi running Android 9 as a stress test. Sportsbook ran fine. Live dealer tables stuttered when switching cameras, and the crash games dropped frames. Slots were unaffected.

iOS System Requirements

Spec Minimum Recommended
OS Version iOS 13 iOS 16+
Devices iPhone 7 and newer, iPad Air 2+ iPhone 12+
Browser Safari (required for PWA install) Safari, latest
Storage Negligible (cached assets only) 100 MB cache headroom

iOS 13 is the practical floor. Below that the service worker that powers offline caching fails silently and you lose the home-screen behaviour.

How to Claim the OnRake Sign Up Bonus on the App

New accounts opened through our link pick up a 75% bonus up to $150 with 15x wagering. We want to flag the wagering figure because it genuinely matters: 15x is well below the 35x that several of OnRake's own casino promotions carry. On a maxed $200 deposit you'd be turning over $2,250 in bonus-funded stakes rather than $5,250. Different universe.

How we did it during testing:

  • Register via the TipsGG OnRake link so the offer is pre-attached
  • Complete the short signup form (email, phone, currency)
  • Open the cashier inside the app and deposit, we used USDC first then bKash second
  • Opt in to the welcome offer on the deposit screen, it's a checkbox, easy to miss
  • Bonus credited to our balance within 40 seconds on both deposits
  • Track rollover progress under the Bonuses tab in your profile

Read the game weighting before you start grinding. Slots and sports selections don't contribute identically, and odds floors apply on sportsbook qualifying bets. If bonus maths isn't your thing, our sports betting glossary breaks down rollover, void bets, and the rest of the vocabulary operators bury in terms pages.

Detailed Analysis of OnRake App Features

The three-sportsbook structure is the headline feature and also the most confusing one for newcomers. IBC Sports is your conventional fixed-odds book: pick a market, take the price, done. 9Wicket and BetsWiz are exchanges, meaning you can back and lay, set your own odds, wait for someone to match you. Cricket bettors in Bangladesh and India will recognise the exchange format immediately. Everyone else needs about ten minutes of fumbling.

We tested pricing on cricket because that's where OnRake's audience lives. Across a handful of T20 and ODI match-winner markets, combined margin landed near 5.4%. Market average across the books we track sits around 5.2%, and the sharpest books on those same fixtures were down near 3.0 to 4.7%. So OnRake is slightly expensive. Not outrageous, but you're paying a small premium for wallet convenience.

Other features worth naming:

  • 🏏 Deep cricket coverage including domestic leagues most books ignore
  • 🎮 Esports markets across major titles, well integrated into the mobile layout
  • 💰 Real-time VIP rakeback, credited continuously rather than weekly
  • 🎲 Provably fair mini-games (dice, crash, plinko) with seed verification
  • 🏦 Multi-currency wallets: USD, BDT, PKR, INR, VND, plus USDT/USDC
  • 🔓 No-KYC onboarding path on crypto deposits
  • 🗣️ Full interface translation, Bengali and Hindi are complete, not half-done machine jobs

The casino side runs 18 game categories and north of a hundred titles in the mobile lobby, with the operator claiming thousands across all verticals once you count every provider's full catalogue. Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Red Tiger, BGaming, JILI, PGSoft, Fa Chai, Habanero all show up. Crash and mines sit alongside baccarat and three-card poker, which tells you exactly who this is built for: younger crypto-native gamblers who grew up on Stake-style formats.

Football coverage is solid but not exceptional. If football is your main sport, compare against our list of the best football betting websites before committing your bankroll here.

App Performance & Stability

Fast. Genuinely fast, and that was the pleasant surprise of this review.

Cold launch on the Pixel averaged 2.1 seconds across ten attempts. Bet slip population was instant. Switching between IBC Sports and 9Wicket took around 1.5 seconds, since the app reloads the engine rather than keeping both warm, slightly annoying but tolerable.

We logged two crashes in three weeks. Both happened when rotating the device mid-session inside a live dealer table. Reopening restored the session with the bet intact. No lost stakes.

Battery drain measured roughly 7% per hour of active sportsbook use, climbing to about 12% in live casino. That's mid-pack. Heavier than a pure sportsbook app like a stripped-down fixed-odds book, lighter than the big multi-vertical giants that keep video feeds running.

Data consumption stayed modest precisely because there's no streaming. Thirty minutes of in-play cricket betting ate under 15 MB. Users on metered connections will appreciate that more than they appreciate the absence of video, probably.

Performance rating: 4.3 / 5

User Interface & Design Layout

Dark theme by default, high-contrast accent colours, bottom navigation bar with five anchors. Standard crypto-casino visual language. Nothing here will shock anyone who has used a modern betting app in the past two years.

Navigation is mostly logical. Sports, Casino, Promotions, Cashier, Profile. The friction point, and we flagged this in our internal notes more than once, is the sportsbook selector. Choosing between three engines is presented as a secondary menu rather than a clear hub, and a first-time user won't understand why some sections show lay options and others don't.

Things we liked:

  • Bet slip slides up from the bottom and doesn't cover the odds you're watching
  • Search works across sports and casino simultaneously
  • Language switcher is one tap from the main menu, not buried in settings
  • Odds format toggle (decimal, fractional, Indian) respects your choice globally

Things we didn't:

  • Bet history requires three taps and loads slowly
  • Promotional banners occupy too much vertical space on small screens
  • No customisable favourites row for your regular leagues

UI rating: 3.9 / 5

Live Streaming & In-Play Betting

Let's handle the bad news first. There is no live streaming. None. Not for cricket, not for football, not for tennis, and not for esports, which stings most of all because esports streams are usually free to embed from public sources. If you're used to watching a match inside your betting app, OnRake will disappoint you and there's no polite way to phrase that.

In-play betting itself, though, is competent. Markets refresh quickly, odds suspensions during cricket wickets or football goals lasted around 6 to 9 seconds in our tests, which is normal. The exchange engines offer in-running back and lay on major cricket, a feature plenty of larger sportsbooks don't match.

What you get instead of video is a basic match tracker with score, overs, and key events. Functional. Uninspiring. We ended up running a stream on a second device and the app on the phone, which is what most serious in-play bettors do anyway.

New to live wagering? Our guide on how to bet on sports covers in-play timing and when suspension windows cost you value.

Live betting rating: 3.5 / 5. Streaming: 1 / 5.

Security & Privacy Features

Mixed bag, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.

On the technical side, the app behaves correctly. TLS encryption on all traffic, no certificate warnings, session timeouts after inactivity, biometric lock on Android. Crypto transactions settle on-chain and are verifiable independently, which is a form of transparency traditional books can't offer. Provably fair games let you check outcomes against server and client seeds.

The licensing picture is where we hesitate. OnRake states Curaçao regulation under Jute Anthony Group, with a corporate address in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The Curaçao Gaming Authority has been issuing licences under its new framework since December 2024, so the claim is plausible. But we could not find a displayed licence number or a clickable regulator certificate anywhere in the app or footer during testing. Established brands put that front and centre. OnRake doesn't.

The no-KYC onboarding is a double-edged feature. Convenient, obviously. It also means dispute resolution runs through an offshore regulator rather than any local authority, and verification demands can surface later at withdrawal time rather than upfront. Our advice: verify early if you plan to withdraw anything substantial.

Responsible gambling tools exist but feel thin. Deposit limits and self-exclusion are available on request through support rather than as self-service toggles. That's behind where the industry should be in 2026. Please read our responsible gambling guide and set your own hard limits if the app won't enforce them for you.

Customer Support & Live Chat

We tested support five times across different hours, deliberately including 3 AM local time.

Test Channel First Response Resolved?
💬 Withdrawal method query Live chat 1 min 50 sec ✅ Yes
💬 Bonus wagering clarification Live chat 3 min 10 sec ✅ Yes
💬 APK install failure (3 AM) Live chat 4 min 40 sec ✅ Yes
📧 Licence documentation request Email ~19 hours ⚠️ Partial
💬 Exchange lay bet question Live chat 2 min 05 sec ✅ Yes

Chat agents answered in English and Bengali without issue. Answers on product mechanics were accurate. The licence question is the one that went sideways, we got a generic "we are licensed in Curaçao" response and no document, after following up twice.

Support rating: 4 / 5 for speed, docked for the transparency gap.

Cash-Out & Betting Tools

Cash-out is available on selected fixed-odds markets through IBC Sports, and we used it successfully on a cricket bet mid-innings. Offered value was slightly below our rough fair-value estimate, which is normal everywhere. Partial cash-out was not available, it's all or nothing.

The exchange books don't offer cash-out in the conventional sense. You close positions by laying back your own bet, which gives you more control if you understand the mechanic and more confusion if you don't.

Tool inventory:

  • ✅ Full cash-out (fixed odds, selected markets)
  • ❌ Partial cash-out
  • ❌ Auto cash-out triggers
  • ✅ Multi / accumulator builder
  • ✅ Back and lay on exchange engines
  • ✅ Odds format switching
  • ⚠️ Bet builder, limited to major football fixtures
  • ✅ Real-time rakeback counter

Withdrawals during our test: USDC request paid out in 11 minutes. bKash request took 2 hours 40 minutes, still well inside anything we'd call slow. Both landed in full, no deductions beyond the network fee on the crypto side.

Tools rating: 3.6 / 5

OnRake App Not Working

Most problems we hit, and the ones surfacing in user chatter, fall into four buckets.

Install blocked on Android. The "install unknown apps" permission wasn't granted to your browser. Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps → select Chrome → Allow. Re-tap the APK.

App opens then immediately closes. Usually a corrupted download, often from a slow connection dropping mid-transfer. Delete the file, clear Chrome's cache, download again on Wi-Fi.

Site won't load at all. ISP-level blocking is common in several of OnRake's markets. Switching DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 resolved it for us on one Bangladeshi carrier. Note that using circumvention tools may conflict with the operator's own terms, check before you do it.

iOS home screen icon broken after an update. The service worker cache went stale. Delete the icon, clear Safari website data for the domain, add to home screen again. Takes thirty seconds.

If none of that works, chat support genuinely did solve our 3 AM install problem in under five minutes. Use them.

How to Place Your First Bet via the App

  • Open the app and log in, or register through our OnRake sign-up link to attach the welcome bonus
  • Fund the account from the Cashier, crypto credits in seconds, e-wallets took us under two minutes
  • Tap Sports and pick your engine, start with IBC Sports if you've never used an exchange
  • Choose a sport, cricket and football sit at the top of the list
  • Tap the odds for your selection, the bet slip slides up from the bottom
  • Enter your stake, confirm the potential return figure looks right
  • Hit Place Bet, confirmation appears in about a second
  • Follow it under Profile → Bet History, or use cash-out if the market offers it

If you opted into the bonus, check which stakes qualify. Minimum odds thresholds apply and low-odds hedges typically won't count toward the 15x.

Tips GG Personal Opinion on OnRake App

We think OnRake is better than its age suggests and worse than its marketing implies.

The app itself is well built. Fast, light, properly localised, and the payment integration is the best we've tested in this segment for Bangladeshi and Pakistani users specifically. Deposits via bKash didn't bounce us to a third-party wallet, which happens constantly with competitors in the region. Withdrawal in 11 minutes on USDC is excellent and we'd rate that above most of the mid-tier field.

Three sportsbooks is a clever hedge against any single provider underdelivering. Exchange access on cricket gives sharper bettors somewhere to actually work, and the 15x welcome rollover is a real advantage against the 35x that OnRake's own casino promos carry elsewhere.

Then there's the other column. No streaming is a hard limitation that bigger brands solved years ago. The licence disclosure problem bothers us more than we expected it to, and support refusing to produce documentation after two follow-ups doesn't inspire confidence. One year of trading means nobody, including us, can tell you how this operator handles a large winning account under pressure. That's not an accusation, it's just an absence of evidence.

Compared to the established giants, OnRake loses on streaming, pricing, and transparency. Compared to the flood of other 2026 crypto launches aimed at the same markets, it looks noticeably more polished and more honestly engineered.

Final verdict: 3.8 / 5. Worth a modest deposit if you're in its core markets and you value wallet convenience plus exchange access. Keep balances small until the brand builds some history. Always gamble responsibly.

FAQ about the OnRake App

Where to Download OnRake App?

Straight from the operator's own site. The Android APK sits in the footer of the mobile page, and iOS users add the web app to their home screen through Safari. There is no Google Play or App Store listing in OnRake's target markets, so any third-party APK mirror claiming otherwise should be treated as unsafe. Our OnRake app download link takes you to the official page with the bonus attached.

Is the App Secure & Reliable?

Technically, yes. TLS encryption throughout, biometric login on Android, session timeouts, provably fair verification on select games, and on-chain transaction records you can audit yourself. Reliability over the long term is the open question, since OnRake only launched in 2026 and does not publish a visible licence number. We rate security 3.2 / 5, held back by disclosure rather than by any technical fault we could find.

Why is OnRake App Not Working?

The usual suspects: unknown-sources permission not enabled, a half-downloaded APK, ISP-level domain blocking, or a stale cache on the iOS web app. Re-download on Wi-Fi, clear your browser data, or switch DNS. Live chat answered install questions in under five minutes during our overnight test, so escalating is quick.

Can I Livestream on the App?

No. OnRake does not offer live video streaming for any sport, and that applies to cricket, football, tennis and esports alike. You get a basic text and score match tracker for in-play context, nothing more. If streaming matters to you, this app will frustrate you and you should look elsewhere.

What's an APK and Is It Safe?

An APK is simply the Android installation package, the same file format Google Play delivers behind the scenes. Installing one manually is normal practice for gambling apps that store policies exclude. It's safe provided the file comes from the operator's own domain, your device still runs its standard signature checks, and you disable the unknown-sources permission again afterwards. Downloading APKs from aggregator sites is where people get burned, two of the three we examined hosted stale or mismatched builds.
