Eight races into the 2025 MotoGP season, Raul Fernandez finds himself at a crossroads. “Yes, it’s a difficult time,” admits Davide Brivio, the team’s seasoned director. “We’re trying to support him as best we can—different setups, fresh perspectives. This doesn’t reflect his true potential. Our challenge is to unlock that.”
Fernandez, now in his fourth MotoGP campaign, mirrors that candor. “I’m not 100% comfortable on the bike yet. We’re around 80–90%. That final step? It’s 50/50—rider and machine. It’s about finding the right balance.”
Engineering Hope: Aragon’s Turning Point?
A recent private test in Aragon could prove pivotal. The Trackhouse crew revamped the chassis, reworked aerodynamic configurations, and even adjusted Fernandez’s braking position. The results were tangible. “We saw meaningful gains,” confirms Noe Herrera, Fernandez’s crew chief. “The aero package we tested for Mugello helped us advance through multiple track segments.”
Locked In: Brivio Commits to Fernandez Through 2026
Despite underwhelming results so far, Brivio remains unwavering. “We’ve signed a two-year contract, and we intend to stick with Raul.” That’s a clear vote of confidence—but the message is equally clear: potential must evolve into performance.
Next up are Mugello and Assen. Two iconic circuits. Two chances for Fernandez to turn promise into points. With upgrades in hand and full team support behind him, the mission is simple—make every lap count.
