Paris-Roubaix returns on Sunday, 12 April 2026, as one of cycling’s most demanding one-day races. Despite its name, this UCI WorldTour classic starts in Compiègne, roughly 80 kilometres northeast of Paris, and finishes on the velodrome in Roubaix.
The race earned the nickname L’Enfer du Nord, The Hell of the North, for good reason. Brutal in dry conditions and treacherous in the rain, the cobbled sections define the event’s character and separate champions from contenders.
