Team Fnatic, a British-Swedish multigaming esports organization, which was founded in 2004 and has rosters in multiple esports titles, such as Counter-Strike, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and FIFA, recently officially announced their partnership with another sponsor — ASOS.
The British brand is set to be the new official retail fashion partner of the esports company.
The British-Swedish esports organizations’s previous jersey sponsor, whose contract has expired, was OnePlus, a Chinese IT company, predominantly selling mobile devices, such as Android smartphones and various accompanying accessories.
The esports organization partnered with other global companies, such as BMW, a car brand from Munich, Germany, also Monster Energy drink, Hisense, a Chiniese electronics company, Jack Links, a US-based beef snack company, and other popular brands.
Fnatic also partnered with AMD, a global semiconductor company, based in Santa Clara, California, which also develops and sells gaming and esports equipment, such as PC hardware parts.
The Fnatic’s recent process of signing new sponsors successfully continues, as the aforementioned fashion deal is the esports company’s second major agreement throughout September.
ASOS
The retail fashion and cosmetics company ASOS was founded in 2000. It specializes and specifically puts a high priority on modern fashion approaches, such as sustainability in the age of modern fast fashion trends.
The British fashion brand states that it especially cares about its impact on the environment, and is eager to continue pursuing its various goals of business model improvements and optimizations.
It is reported about the planned implementation of diverse online and offline activities for the Fnatic’s fans around the world, including multiple activations mixed with a lot of content and events.
The cooperation between the two British companies is signed for the period of at least three years. There are rumors in the community that the newly signed deal is a multi-million affair.
The British-Swedish esports organizations’ rosters will wear a new jersey with the new sponsors logos located and clearly visible on them.
The new LoL team’s jerseys will be ready for the League of Legends’ 2021 Season World Championship, or Worlds 2021 — one of the biggest global esports events, starting October 5 in Laugardalsholl Sport Center, Reykjavik, Iceland.
Crypto
It was previously reported that the Fnatic team signed a $15 million US dollar partnership with Crypto. This is a multi-year, long-term agreement, which was approved by both parties.
The payment and cryptocurrency platform, founded in 2016 and based in London, United Kingdom, decided to enter the esports market and sign a five-year partnership with the Australia-originating esports organization, which has one of the most recognizable brands in the esports industry.
Crypto’s services allow its 10 million customers to easily acquire, trade, or use various existing cryptocurrencies to shop online.
Thanks to Crypto’s efforts, the British-Swedish multigaming esports organization will also soon be able to boast of their own non-fungible tokens, or NFTs — a popular market initiative in the form of blockchain-based assets or products in today’s global digital environment.
Fro Crypto, this is not the first deal in sports and esports industry, as the cryptocurrency company previously signed multiple sponsorship and collaboration agreements with various brands around the world, such as football’s Serie A championship and Paris Saint-Germain club, Ultimate Fighting Championship, Formula One organization and Aston Martin team, also NHL league and Montreal Canadiens hockey team from Canada.
