Fernandez earned the contract after a two-month trial period with the club, which included a preseason appearance against New Mexico United. “No matter where life has taken me, the dream of competing professionally never truly left my heart. I’m incredibly grateful to El Paso Locomotive FC — the club, coaches, staff, and especially my teammates — for opening the doors and giving me the opportunity to compete from day one.” — Cristo Fernandez
Locomotive coach Junior Gonzalez backed the signing, describing Fernandez as an attacking addition who also brings passion and leadership to the locker room. Follow TipsGG for continued coverage of USL Championship news and match analysis.
