SummerSlam 2026 runs two nights from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, August 1 and 2, with twelve matches and six championships on the line. The full match card is locked and the betting lines are live. Below are the Tips.GG predictions for every bout, with what each result sets up for the autumn.
The build has underwhelmed almost everyone, and yet the card reads like a blockbuster on paper. That gap is the story of the weekend, and it is why the results matter more here than usual: almost every match this weekend is setting up something rather than finishing it.
Odds below are from Sky Bet, converted to decimal. Percentages are de-vigged — the bookmaker margin of 5-11% stripped out proportionally — so they represent the market’s actual expectation rather than the inflated raw figure. Line movement is noted from BetOnline and BetUS where it matters. If you are new to wagering on scripted sport, our sports betting guide covers the basics, and the betting glossary explains the terms used below.
Night One
Liv Morgan (c) vs Iyo Sky: WWE Women’s World Championship
Odds: Liv Morgan 1.73 (fair 52.5%) | Iyo Sky 1.91 (fair 47.5%)

The market has moved toward Sky all month, from -240 out to -175, and the obvious read is that a hundred days without a televised defence means the reign is ending. We are going the other way, and the reason is the challenger queue.
Sky already beat Morgan in the Queen of the Ring final. That is how she earned this match, and it means a second win closes the door on a rematch rather than opening one. A champion Sky then needs a heel challenger, and the division does not have one available: Raquel Rodriguez has just taken the Women’s Intercontinental Title and is out of the picture, Rhea Ripley holds the WWE Women’s Championship and is waiting on the interim winner. Morgan retaining keeps Stephanie Vaquer’s unfinished business alive — Vaquer was written off in April by the Judgment Day, has been posting from the gym, and remains the one heel-versus-face structure the division has ready to go.
Predicted Winner: Liv Morgan
What’s next: Vaquer returns for the rematch that WWE scrapped at Backlash. The alternative worth watching is Roxanne Perez: if Sky does win, Perez chasing the belt back for her mentor creates a conflict of interest with that same mentor, and finally gets Morgan and Perez into the ring against each other.
LA Knight, Solo Sikoa & Royce Keys vs The Bloodline: Six-Man Tag
Odds: The Bloodline 1.33 (fair 69.3%) | Knight, Sikoa & Keys 3.00 (fair 30.7%)
Everyone is predicting a Solo Sikoa turn. Nobody should be. He turned babyface weeks ago, refused the Bloodline twice on camera, and backstage reporting says his run was meant to be short-term but is now being extended because of the reaction. WWE does not undo that in six weeks.
Royce Keys is the cleaner mechanism. He spent months undermining Sikoa and refused to join his faction, which gives a jump to Roman Reigns’ side actual history behind it. The Bloodline win either way; the question is whose hand does it.
Predicted Winner: The Bloodline
What’s next: Keys against Sikoa as a singles feud, with the history already written. That leaves LA Knight without a dance partner, which is the more interesting problem — a Knight heel turn is the one swerve nobody is predicting, but it needs a destination, and right now every lane above him is occupied.
Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar: Hell in a Cell
Odds: Oba Femi 1.04 (fair 89.1%) | Brock Lesnar 8.50 (fair 10.9%)
Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar settle their trilogy inside Hell in a Cell. Source: WWE
The shortest price on the card and the strongest pick. Femi has already beaten Lesnar once, turned down his King of the Ring title shot to chase him instead, and this is the blowoff stipulation in Lesnar’s home market. Femi at 1.04 is correct and unbackable.
The variable is Paul Heyman. He is with Lesnar, and on the July 13 Raw he walked away from The Vision — Austin Theory asked whether the group could get back together and Heyman answered, “Maxxine was so magnificent tonight, what the hell do you need me for?” He is down to one client, and that client is a part-timer.
A betrayal would protect Lesnar from a clean loss in his home market and solve Femi’s one real weakness, which is that he is a monster without a mouthpiece heading into a main-event run. It would also be Heyman steering a challenger straight at Roman Reigns, the tribal chief he abandoned in 2024. The counter is that WWE has reportedly intended to keep Heyman aligned with Bron Breakker, so the vacancy may already be spoken for.
Predicted Winner: Oba Femi
What’s next: Femi to Reigns is the likeliest route. He gave up the guaranteed title shot to settle this, which makes going back for it the natural second act.
The Bella Twins & Paige vs Fatal Influence: Six-Woman Tag
Odds: Fatal Influence 1.50 (fair 61.3%) | Bellas & Paige 2.38 (fair 38.7%)
The tag titles are not on the line — six competitors, no belts — but they are the reason this match matters. Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid took them from Brie Bella and Paige at Saturday Night’s Main Event six days before Nikki Bella returned to even the numbers. Beating a new champion team a week into their reign wipes out the point of putting the belts on them, and WWE spent months cooling Fatal Influence off before finally committing.
Predicted Winner: Fatal Influence
What’s next: The result decides whether the Bellas stay in the tag division or split off into singles work — a loss frees all three. Paige is the outlier in a trio built around the sisters, so a split after the match is on the table.
Gunther vs Nick Aldis
Odds: Gunther 1.07 (fair 86.7%) | Nick Aldis 7.00 (fair 13.3%)
WWE has run this story before. At Backlash 2025 Gunther faced Pat McAfee — a non-wrestler who had taken enough of Gunther’s humiliation specifically and demanded satisfaction — and beat him. Aldis is the same template: not a retirement match, not the career-killer gimmick that finished Goldberg, Cena and AJ Styles, but an attraction built on whether a man from outside the ring can survive inside it. Gunther grouped the two together himself when Complex asked him this week.
Aldis has been given more than McAfee ever was. He surrendered the general manager’s chair to sign the contract, and on the go-home SmackDown he ran Gunther off and locked in a Texas Cloverleaf. But ask what a win actually buys him. Wade Barrett has confirmed the GM departure is temporary, so Aldis goes back behind the desk either way, and what he needs from this is a performance that proves he can still work — which he gets whether the referee counts three or not. A loss costs him nothing.
It costs Gunther a great deal. He is a man whose value rests on being the wall other wrestlers fail to climb, and he can only afford unresolved losses against genuine main eventers. Dropping one to a returning administrator, in a match he did not need, takes something back that WWE would then have to rebuild.
So the pick is Gunther, and the odds and the reported creative plans agree. What we would push back on is the assumption that the match is a formality. Aldis has been booked as a threat for two months, the contract carries a hold-harmless clause, and there is a live interference window: Gunther attacked Sami Zayn and Finn Balor from behind on Friday, and both wrestle on Night Two, so neither has a scheduling conflict with settling it on Night One. Something unexpected is coming here. Our read is that it is not the finish.
Predicted Winner: Gunther
What’s next: Aldis goes back behind the desk, which frees Gunther immediately. Seth Rollins is one possible destination, with an unresolved WrestleMania 42 finish between them. If Zayn or Balor costs Gunther the match here, either could be the programme instead.
CM Punk (c) vs Cody Rhodes: Undisputed WWE Championship
Odds: CM Punk 1.22 (fair 78.0%) | Cody Rhodes 4.33 (fair 22.0%)
CM Punk defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes. Source: WWE
Punk returned from hiatus and took the title off Sami Zayn in his first match back, nine days after Zayn finally won it at the tenth attempt. Wrestlers posted about it. The audience reacted badly. Whether that resentment is genuine or a worked shoot, WWE has been sitting on it for a month without addressing it, and that is not how you handle an accident.
So the prediction is Punk retains and turns heel. It solves the roster’s heel shortage at the very top, it makes sense of a title reign the crowd has rejected, and it needs no new construction — the story is already on the internet. Randy Orton costing Rhodes the match is the obvious accelerant, though his return has been promised and delayed twice already, and he was not part of this build.
Predicted Winner: CM Punk
What’s next: Orton and Rhodes pick up the thread left open when Orton’s WrestleMania 42 win was scrapped by injury. Punk goes to the Night Two contender’s winner.
Night Two
Five-Way Ladder Match: Interim WWE Women’s Championship
Participants: Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green, Lash Legend
Odds: not priced
WrestleVotes reported that Flair versus Cargill was left off the card because one of them likely wins here. We read that the other way. Flair and Cargill have been circling each other for months and cancel each other out in a ladder match; Stratton and Green are two babyfaces who have been booked as friends. That leaves Lash Legend, who beat Giulia clean and in dominant fashion in the qualifier, has Nia Jax behind her, and is the only heel in the match.
The stipulation matters. This is an interim belt built to be handed back, which is exactly the kind of title WWE gives to someone it wants to test at the top before committing.
Predicted Winner: Lash Legend
What’s next: Legend loses the unification match to Rhea Ripley, who is also posting from the gym, so the wait should be short. Flair and Cargill finally get their singles feud without a belt complicating it.
Danhausen vs Dominik Mysterio: Human Monies on a Pole
Odds: Danhausen 1.25 (fair 72.2%) | Dominik Mysterio 3.25 (fair 27.8%)
The market is pricing the push rather than the match. Danhausen is a comedy act whose value has never been in the ring, and eight minutes of a stipulation match exposes that. Dominik is the reigning AAA champion with a title defence against El Grande Americano in mid-September at AAA’s biggest show, and he now has Ryan Garcia aligned with the Judgment Day after the go-home Raw.
The counter is real: Danhausen and Joe Hendry took a beating on Raw, and this is the standard payoff spot. But the curse works on Liv Morgan whether or not Danhausen wins a match, and an undefeated novelty act has no third act.
Predicted Winner: Dominik Mysterio
What’s next: Dominik to Triplemanía. Danhausen and Hendry keep working the Judgment Day, with Garcia as the new complication.
Penta (c) vs Chad Gable: WWE Intercontinental Championship
Odds: Chad Gable 1.14 (fair 81.4%) | Penta 5.00 (fair 18.6%)
The reported creative favourite and the easiest call of the weekend. Gable’s obsession with this title turned him heel, losing to Penta sent him to learn lucha libre, and he returns to the same belt against the same opponent in his home state. He has never held a singles championship in WWE.
Predicted Winner: Chad Gable
What’s next: Gable should be booked as a strong champion, and Raw’s midcard has the bodies for it. Ethan Page is the most active singles heel on the brand and beat Rey Mysterio on the July 27 Raw; Rusev is the power option; Sami Zayn is available if he loses on Night Two; Je’Von Evans is the babyface change of pace once Gable has run through the heels. Penta reunites with his brother.
Sami Zayn vs Finn Balor: Number One Contender’s Match
Odds: Sami Zayn 1.57 (fair 58.3%) | Finn Balor 2.20 (fair 41.7%)
Finn Balor faces Sami Zayn for a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship. Source: WWE
The line has collapsed from Zayn -200 to a pick’em. Backstage reporting separately suggests the finish may be a game-time decision, which is unusual this close to a show and suggests the argument inside WWE is as close as the one outside it.
Balor is on three straight wins and has been the most consistent performer on SmackDown. Zayn does not need the shot; he needs the refusal. He has already held this title, lost it in nine days, and been denied a place in the Punk-Rhodes match — one more denial feeds the unravelling WWE has spent two months building, while a win resolves it too early.
Predicted Winner: Finn Balor
What’s next: Balor challenges Punk at the next PLE, and if Punk has turned, it is a clean babyface-versus-heel programme. Kevin Owens is the wildcard: he has never wrestled Punk in WWE, which makes it a genuine first-time match, and folding him into Balor’s shot as a triple threat is the likeliest way to introduce him without inventing history.
Trick Williams (c) vs Baron Corbin: United States Championship
Odds: Trick Williams 1.30 (fair 71.4%) | Baron Corbin 3.25 (fair 28.6%)
The United States Championship is a midcard belt. It exists to audition performers before a real push, and Williams passed that audition months ago. Holding it now ties him to defences against whoever is available while the world title picture stays full, and the belt adds nothing to a rise that has already happened.
Corbin has been booked to dominate since returning, which is usually the tell of a man being fattened for slaughter — but it is equally the tell of a company that wants a credible champion in a division short of them. The line has moved toward him all week: Williams from -4000 out to -2000, Corbin in from +1000 to +700.
Predicted Winner: Baron Corbin
What’s next: Money in the Bank is not until October, which is too far to be the immediate answer. A Williams rematch is the practical bridge, and it keeps him in a programme rather than idle.
Roman Reigns (c) vs Seth Rollins: World Heavyweight Championship
Odds: Roman Reigns 1.14 (fair 81.4%) | Seth Rollins 5.00 (fair 18.6%)
Roman Reigns defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins in the Night Two main event. Source: WWE
Reigns has drifted from -700 to -1600 in two weeks, which is the market reading the same signals we are. Beating Rollins is the missing credential in his record, and everything points to him carrying this into WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia.
Expect Shield callbacks and no Bloodline interference — it has not been part of this story and a run-in would undercut the premise.
Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns
What’s next: Femi confronts Reigns to close the weekend. Rollins already lost a stretch to injury and missed the WrestleMania main event he was built for, so he goes straight into another top programme rather than a holding pattern. Gunther is the most available option once the Aldis stipulation expires, with their WrestleMania 42 finish still unresolved; a Breakker rematch is the other.
All Twelve Picks
| Match | Pick | Odds | De-vigged | Key detail |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Liv Morgan (c) vs Iyo Sky | Liv Morgan | 1.73 | 52.5% | Retains because there is no challenger behind a champion Sky |
| Six-man tag | The Bloodline | 1.33 | 69.3% | Win off a betrayal, Fatu on the pin |
| Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar | Oba Femi | 1.04 | 89.1% | Decisive; Heyman’s loyalty is the story afterwards |
| Bellas & Paige vs Fatal Influence | Fatal Influence | 1.50 | 61.3% | Dissension finish; the win sets up Jayne’s title shot |
| Gunther vs Nick Aldis | Gunther | 1.07 | 86.7% | WWE has run this attraction template before and stuck to it |
| CM Punk (c) vs Cody Rhodes | CM Punk | 1.22 | 78.0% | Retains and turns, making sense of a reign the crowd rejected |
| Interim title ladder match | Lash Legend | n/p | — | The only heel in the match while Flair and Cargill cancel out |
| Danhausen vs Dominik Mysterio | Dominik Mysterio | 3.25 | 27.8% | Interference finish; his AAA defence needs him credible |
| Penta (c) vs Chad Gable | Chad Gable | 1.14 | 81.4% | Clean; the first singles title of his WWE career |
| Sami Zayn vs Finn Balor | Finn Balor | 2.20 | 41.7% | Zayn’s story is better served by another refusal |
| Trick Williams (c) vs Baron Corbin | Baron Corbin | 3.25 | 28.6% | The belt has stopped doing anything for Williams |
| Roman Reigns (c) vs Seth Rollins | Roman Reigns | 1.14 | 81.4% | Clean; beating Rollins is the credential the reign is built on |
Four picks sit at 1.14 or shorter, where being right pays almost nothing and an accumulator only compounds the bookmaker’s margin. The prices worth taking are Finn Balor at 2.20, Dominik Mysterio at 3.25 and Baron Corbin at 3.25. Always gamble responsibly.
