The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 (PMWC 2026) brings 32 teams from every competitive region to Paris, France from August 6 to August 16, 2026. The event runs at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles as part of the Esports World Cup 2026. The $3,000,000 USD prize pool makes it the premier mid-season international tournament on the 2026 calendar. Earlier listings had the event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; the venue moved to Paris in May.

All 32 rosters are confirmed. Here is the complete lineup, organized by qualifying region.

Southeast Asia

• Team Flash (Vietnam) — 1st in SEA Points. Roster: Bowz, Zhius, Topz, win (all Vietnam).
• eArena (Thailand) — 2nd in SEA Points. Roster: Jowker, MORMAN, SchwepXz, TernyK (all Thailand).
• RRQ (Indonesia) — 3rd in SEA Points. Roster: GenFos, Lapar, Firen, Nerpehko (all Indonesia).
• Team Vitality — 4th in SEA Points. Roster: Reizy (Indonesia, Captain), FEDERALES (Philippines), Reyzak, Axel, V3xxy, Ryzen (Indonesia). Note: Bigetron By Vitality compete under the Team Vitality name for the Esports World Cup.

South Asia

• 4Thrives (Pakistan) — 1st in South Asia Points. Roster: FALAK, HUZAIFA, T24OP, IQ, Nocki (all Pakistan).
• Horaa Esports (Nepal) — 2nd in South Asia Points. Roster: JiGGL3 (Captain), SkY, NoFear, SleepY (all Nepal).

India

• Orangutan — 1st in India Points. Roster: Aaru, AK, WizzGOD, Attanki (all India).
• GodLike Esports — 1st in India Pro Series. Roster: Manya, Spower, Saumay, ADMINO (all India).

EECA (Eastern Europe & Central Asia)

• Aurora (Mongolia) — 1st in EECA Points. Roster: DOK, TOP, Zyol, REFUS (all Mongolia).
• GOAT Team — 2nd in EECA Points. Roster: AYATO (Kyrgyzstan), FORCE (Uzbekistan), MOXXXYY (Ukraine), FOOPSMAN (Ukraine). FOOPSMAN and KillerJoe (both Ukraine) are standing in for Focus and SAYREX (both Russia) due to visa issues.
• TT Project — 3rd in EECA Points. Roster: NEOZ (Russia), EFFYIS (Russia), EFFECT (Kyrgyzstan), ZERYCH (Kyrgyzstan).

MENA (Middle East & North Africa)

• AlUla Club — 1st in MENA Points. Roster: Quick (Iraq), Y4SR (Saudi Arabia), R3B (Iraq), KŁAWSINHO (Saudi Arabia).
• Nigma Galaxy — 2nd in MENA Points. Roster: Koops (USA), LORD (Iraq), RAOUF (Algeria), SaTaN (Syria).
• GS 721 — 3rd in MENA Points. GS Team acquired the 721 Esports roster on June 27, and the team now competes as GS 721. Roster: ALEKO, MALIK, Masko, Rehan (all Iraq).
• Geekay — 4th in MENA Points. Roster: EZ4BADBOY (Uzbekistan), KEVIN (Iraq), RAGNARoK (Jordan), SAFG (Saudi Arabia).
• ETSH Esports (Egypt) — 5th in MENA Points. Roster: Apkrino (Egypt), NASSER (Egypt), FAHiTA (Libya), SPEED32 (Egypt).

Türkiye

• ULF Esports — 1st in Türkiye Points. Roster: Kecth, Eren7, Scarface, Soulless (all Türkiye).
• Gaming Stars — 2nd in Türkiye Points. Acquired the Black Esports roster on May 17. Roster: Mani4c, Rolex20, Yuseph, Swash (all Türkiye).
• S2G Esports — 3rd in Türkiye Points. Roster: Solkay, Lost, Kamikaze, HamsiG (all Türkiye).
• IDA Esports — 4th in Türkiye Points. Roster: Rita, Darkin, Emre7, Swajn (all Türkiye).

Western Europe

• Hustler Crew — 1st in Western Europe Points. Roster: AaZzMmm (Portugal), Loco (Nepal), KAL3Y (UK), Vinnie (UK).

Americas

• FURIA (Brazil) — 1st in Americas Points. Roster: Ayala (Argentina), Chieff (Brazil), Higor (Brazil), Silence (Brazil).
• Wolves — 2nd in Americas Points. Roster: Baton (USA), SLONIK (Ukraine), Lmntrixxx (Ukraine), NCSSRY (Ukraine).
• Alpha7 (Brazil) — 3rd in Americas Points. Roster: Revo, Carrilho, Guizão, Obscure (all Brazil).

Africa

• XForce Rejects (South Africa) — 1st in Africa Points. Game Point acquired the roster on May 25, and the roster returned to XForce Rejects on July 13. Roster: Reverb (South Africa), Shiva (South Africa), Baby (South Africa), Devil (Egypt).

China (PEL)

• AG.AL — 1st in PEL Points. All Gamers compete under the AG.AL name for the Esports World Cup. Roster: FlowerH, Lyu, XZZ, Maple (all China).
• Tianba — 2nd in PEL Points. Roster: Qzz, Eagle, Aching, MiLu, shallow (all China).
• ThunderTalk Gaming — 3rd in PEL Points. Roster: Ajay, Xing, SiTing, awake (China), Jimmy (Taiwan).

Korea & Japan

• NS RedForce (South Korea) — 1st in Pro Series Korea. Roster: SOEZ, XZY, TIZ1, HYUNBIN (all South Korea).
• DOPENESS (Japan) — 1st in the Japan qualifier. Roster: KenG (Japan), SpiCa (Japan), MIT1KA (Japan), Lufa (Philippines).
• DRX (South Korea) — 1st in the Rivals Cup. Roster: BINI, Hoxy, TRE, Qxzzz (all South Korea).

Defending Champion

• Yangon Galacticos (Myanmar) — Invited as PMWC 2025 Champion. Roster: Smile, Marnett, Romeo, SAYCLOUD (all Myanmar).

With the full 32-team field locked in, the only outstanding variables are late roster substitutions and stand-ins, which are worth checking against the official participant list before the first drop.

Tournament Format

The competition runs across three stages over eleven days. Every stage uses the standard PUBG Mobile match scoring system.

Group Stage (August 6 to 9)

All 32 teams split into 2 groups of 16. Each group plays 12 matches. The top 5 from each group advance directly to the Grand Finals. Teams finishing 6th through 13th drop to the Survival Stage. The bottom 3 in each group are eliminated.

Survival Stage (August 11 to 12)

16 teams play 12 matches. The top 6 move on to the Grand Finals. The remaining 10 are out.

Grand Finals (August 14 to 16)

16 teams compete across a maximum of 18 matches (6 per day). Ten of those teams come from the Group Stage and six from the Survival Stage. The final day applies the Smash Rule: once a team passes the match-point threshold it becomes Match Point Eligible, and the first eligible team to take a WWCD is crowned champion. If nobody manages that inside the match limit, the team with the highest overall points wins.

Scoring System

Each elimination is worth 1 point. Tiebreakers follow this order: total Chicken Dinners (WWCDs), total placement points, total elimination points, then best placement in the most recent match.

Teams and Storylines We’re Watching

Yangon Galacticos: The Title Defense

Yangon Galacticos arrive as the reigning PMWC 2025 champions and the only invited team in the field. They don’t have to prove they belong, but repeating at this level is a different challenge entirely. The Myanmar squad built around Smile and SAYCLOUD showed last year that they can handle late-game pressure better than almost anyone. We think they’re a top-five contender again, though the field is deeper this time.

Chinese PEL: Three Deep

AG.AL (All Gamers), Tianba, and ThunderTalk Gaming give China three entries. Chinese teams historically play a controlled, zone-oriented style that translates well to international lobbies. Both Tianba and ThunderTalk carry five players, which suggests they’re ready to rotate based on map or opponent tendencies. AG.AL with FlowerH and Maple could be the most mechanically gifted roster at the event.

Türkiye’s Four-Team Contingent

Türkiye sends four squads: ULF Esports, Gaming Stars, S2G Esports, and IDA Esports. That is the largest single-nation contingent at the tournament. Turkish teams tend toward aggressive early rotations and edge fighting, a style that either racks up kills or ends in early wipes. ULF topped the Türkiye qualification table and we rate them as the strongest of the four, but S2G with Kamikaze can produce upsets.

South Asia and India

4Thrives from Pakistan finished first in South Asia points and bring a five-man roster that has been together long enough to trust each other in chaotic final circles. GodLike Esports carry huge expectations from Indian fans after winning the India Pro Series. Orangutan qualified first through India Points, and their roster of Aaru, AK, WizzGOD, and Attanki has shown consistent form throughout the qualifying period. Horaa Esports from Nepal round out the subcontinent’s representation.

MENA’s Five Entries

Five MENA teams made the cut, led by AlUla Club, who mix Iraqi and Saudi players. Nigma Galaxy field a genuinely multinational roster with players from the USA, Iraq, Algeria, and Syria, and Geekay are just as spread out, with an Uzbek, an Iraqi, a Jordanian, and a Saudi. GS 721, the all-Iraqi squad picked up by GS Team in June, gives the region another cohesive unit. ETSH Esports from Egypt are maybe the dark horse of the group.

Americas and Brazil

FURIA are the top Americas qualifier and arguably the most recognizable esports brand at the event. Their roster mixes Brazilian and Argentine talent. Alpha7 are an all-Brazilian squad, while Wolves qualified through the Americas but field three Ukrainian players alongside American Baton. That Ukrainian core gives Wolves an EECA-style aggression that doesn’t match what you’d expect from an Americas team.

Korea and Japan

NS RedForce and DRX represent South Korea, arriving through the Pro Series and the Rivals Cup respectively. Korean rosters are known for discipline and late-game execution. DOPENESS qualified through Japan but include Lufa from the Philippines, adding a Southeast Asian dimension to their play. Honestly, Korean teams at PUBG Mobile internationals tend to either dominate or struggle with the pace of more aggressive lobbies. There’s not much middle ground.

Visa Issues and Roster Changes

Several roster complications have already surfaced. GOAT Team lost Russian players Focus and SAYREX to visa problems and are fielding Ukrainians FOOPSMAN and KillerJoe as stand-ins. Gaming Stars picked up the entire Black Esports roster in May. In Africa, the XForce Rejects roster changed orgs twice, moving to Game Point in May before returning to XForce Rejects in July. These kinds of disruptions can seriously affect chemistry, and we’d factor them into any predictions.

What Makes PMWC 2026 Different

Thirty-two teams with players representing more than 30 countries, playing a battle royale where 16 squads drop into the same map simultaneously. The variance is enormous. A team can play perfectly for 11 of their 12 group-stage matches and then get zone-screwed in the one that matters. That is what makes PUBG Mobile so compelling to watch and so difficult to predict.

The Smash Rule on the final day of the Grand Finals adds another layer. Reaching the points threshold isn’t enough on its own; a team then has to close it out with a WWCD, and the tournament can end before all 18 matches are played. It rewards consistency across the entire finals rather than a single hot streak on the final day.

Regional styles will collide in every lobby. Chinese teams playing controlled rotations will share the map with Turkish squads looking for early fights and South Asian teams that thrive in mid-game chaos. Put all of that in one lobby and the results become genuinely unpredictable.

TipsGG Editorial Take

We think Yangon Galacticos, AG.AL, and Team Flash are the three strongest rosters entering Paris. 4Thrives and Aurora are the teams most likely to outperform expectations. The Türkiye block will be fun to watch but probably won’t put more than one team in the Grand Finals top five. FURIA could surprise everyone if the Americas meta has evolved since the last international.
