The 20-year-old sniper transferred from Team Spirit to the international squad.
OG has announced the signing of Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov, who will take the sniper role instead of Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski.
It’s time for the DEGSTER MANIAAAAAAAAA

degster started his career in the competitive scene of CS:GO in April 2019, when he joined the Russian team ESPADA. With this team in late 2020, Abdul managed to qualify for Rio Major. But the tournament was canceled due to the pandemic of COVID-19. After the successful result, Team Spirit acquired degster from ESPADA in early 2020. He helped the team to finish in the top 4 at IEM Katowice 2021, which gave him the status of “main player” on a roster. Later degster and Team Spirit qualified for Stockholm Major, where they didn’t attend Legends Stage and took only 17th-19th place.
After a rebuild, Team Spirit became a very young team. But it didn’t prevent them from qualifying for Major, going through Challengers and Legends Stage, and finishing in the 3rd-4th place in Antwerp.
Despite the historical result on Major, Team Spirit and degster decided to part ways for different reasons. One of them is that player didn’t want to spend nine months in Serbia for one year. After that OG announced that degster would help them at BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022, because their main sniper, mantuu, had a positive test for COVID-19. With Gasanov, the international team won against NAVI in the group stage and finished in the top 4 at this event.
mantuu was an original member of OG CS:GO roster. He joined the team in December 2019 and spent more than 1000 days in the organization. The most notable results in OG’s jersey for mantuu is the 2nd place at Flashpoint Season 2.
It has been one hell of a ride.
After almost 1000 days wearing OG colors, it's with heavy hearts that we are letting go of the last founding member of OG CS:GO.
While we may be parting ways, we are happy to know that our histories will forever be linked.
Thank you, @m4ntuu. pic.twitter.com/CTOB0UpSTb
