Sources indicate that Magisk is in discussions with BC.Game Esports over an in-game leader role, a move that would mark a significant positional shift for the veteran CS:GO player.
Magisk stepping into an IGL capacity would represent a notable development for BC.Game Esports as the organization looks to reshape its roster structure. The talks, surfaced by insider source KRL, have not yet been confirmed by either party.
A potential Magisk arrival fits the rebuild BC.Game has been running for several months. In mid-June the organization openly declared that “the rebuild has begun,” reinforcing its management — a former ENCE general manager joined the club, while veteran Filip “TaZ” Kubski serves as head coach.
The core remains star-studded: Ukrainian AWPer Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, who joined back in the summer of 2025, russian rifler Denis “electroNic” Sharipov, who reunited with him later that year, and Mongolian Munkhbold “Senzu” Azbayar, signed permanently in late June 2026 after a loan spell.
The in-game leader slot is effectively vacant. Back in April, BC.Game benched MUTiRiS and aragornN — and it was MUTiRiS, the former SAW captain, who had been calling as IGL. Analyst ScrunK temporarily filled the gap at IEM Atlanta and the CS Asia Championship, but he too departed on June 27. Bringing in an experienced caller therefore looks like a logical next step.

LegacyFor Magisk, a multiple-time Major champion with Astralis, moving into an IGL role would be a major shift in responsibility — from a classic rifler to the man shouldering tactical leadership. For BC.Game, whose 2026 results have been uneven (including a group-stage exit at IEM Atlanta and a slump in the Valve Regional Standings), it would be an attempt to add structure to a roster built around bright but not always disciplined individual talent.
