Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea has requested permission from FUT Esports to explore other opportunities in the second half of the season, according to sources with knowledge of the matter.
The move is unrelated to FUT‘s performance at the Major. Sources confirm lauNX expressed his desire for a new challenge before the team even began their campaign in Cologne. FUT exited the Major in 9th-11th place after a loss to BB Team in the final round of Stage 3, having previously fallen to Vitality and G2 Esports, with wins recorded against B8 and MOUZ.
lauNX arrived at FUT in August 2025, signing from Nexus as a direct replacement for Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier, who had joined the Turkish organization earlier that year as part of the former Natus Vincere Junior core. Since then, the Romanian rifler has posted a 1.10 rating and played a central role as FUT built itself into a tier-1 side through 2026. The season’s standout moment came in April, when FUT claimed their first major trophy at PGL Bucharest.

The MongolZIn the wake of the Major elimination, lauNX was candid about the uncertainty surrounding his future.
“Many things can happen, especially when the big guys are coming with crazy offers. I don’t know what’s gonna happen.”
“I have no comment because then if I say something and then the opposite happens, I might get backlash for it, so I don’t wanna say anything.”
Whether FUT grant the transfer request or move to retain one of their key performers remains to be seen. Stay with TipsGG for full coverage as the CS:GO off-season market develops.
