European team MOUZ NXT has become WePlay Academy League Season 2 Champions. In the grand final, MOUZ defeated Natus Vincere Junior 2:0. The battle between the teams took place on Dust 2 and Vertigo. Both games ended with the same score of 16:11.
The European team felt more confident playing for the defensive side on Dust 2. MOUZ was able to take a complete 10 rounds in the first half.
The first half on the Vertigo map also went with the advantage of the European team. MOUZ took 9 rounds playing for the T-side in the first half of the second game on Vertigo.
For first place, the MOUZ team earned $45,000 of the total prize pool of $88,000.
The WePlay Academy League was held in Kyiv at the WePlay Esports Arena. Apart from MOUZ NXT, three other teams took part in the LAN finals: Young Ninjas, Na’Vi Junior and BIG Academy.
