Manchester United ended nearly a decade of frustration at Anfield with a dramatic 2-1 victory over Liverpool, their first away win in this fixture since January 2016. Liverpool threw bodies forward in the closing stages, but United’s defensive discipline held firm. The victory marked Amorim’s first back-to-back Premier League wins in charge and handed Liverpool their fourth straight defeat in all competitions — a result that may well shift the title race narrative once again.
