Roman Yaremchuk arrived in Greece during the summer of 2024 following a career path through KAA Gent, Benfica, Club Brugge, and Valencia CF. Known for his physical presence, the forward recorded 10 goals and 4 assists across 33 appearances in the 2024-25 campaign. While he has struggled to find the net in 11 league matches this term, his efficiency in domestic cup competitions remains high. He scored 4 goals in just four Greek Cup fixtures.
This transfer marks a milestone for the French club. Roman Yaremchuk will become the first Ukrainian player to represent Les Gones. At 30, he prepares to compete in a fifth different European league. His extensive continental experience is a key factor for the technical staff at OL as they look to bolster their attacking options for the remainder of the season.
