The giant of esports industry spanning across multiple most-played titles such as League of Legends and, obviously, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, G2 roster have unveiled their updated roster for the 2022 professional season in CS:GO. Well, the changes are here! Starting off the year with the good old tradition of G2’s banger reveal videos, the final iteration of the squad is ready to tackle this professional season.
After the announcement of Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen as the team’s new in-game leader with a humorous article, we finally have all pieces of the puzzle. Fitting neatly together, the squad now looks like this:
Audric “JACKZ” Jug: Rifler – Entry fragger.
Nemanja “huNter-“ Kovač: Rifler.
Nikola “NiKo” Kovač: Rifler.
Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov: AWPer.
Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen: In-game leader, support rifler.
Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam: Coach.
Although the dreams of French superteam seem to be completely dashed coming into 2022, the French talent is still all there indicated by G2’s acquisition of XTQZZZ as the head coach. Formerly coaching another of the France’s massive squads, Team Vitality, Rémy is no stranger to leading his roster to victory. Let’s see if he can do so again!
