You know that feeling when a big event sneaks up on you and suddenly everyone else has tickets except… you? Let’s not do that again. If you’re planning to hit the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, especially the early stages at MTK Sportpark, you’ll want to lock your spot down before the crowd wakes up.
You’re looking at sixteen days of Counter-Strike 2 mayhem, the top 32 teams in the world, storylines that can melt you or hype you beyond reason, and – right at the beginning – an arena that only seats 2,000 people. Two thousand. That’s smaller than some high schools. Blink and the seats are gone.
So yeah… book early.

Natus VincereWhere it all starts: MTK Sportpark (Stages 1–3)
The group stages of the Major set the tone for everything that follows. Think of it like watching a seed crack open just before it becomes a storm – raw, scrappy CS2 with teams still fighting for their lives. And you get to sit a few meters away from it.
Here’s how the schedule breaks down:
📍 MTK Sportpark – Capacity: 2,000 spectators
🗓️ Stage 1: November 24–27
🗓️ Stage 2: November 29–December 2
🗓️ Stage 3: December 4–7
Three stages. Three separate tickets. No all-in-one pass here, so you’ll want to pick your days carefully – or just grab a bundle and call it a week-long getaway with grenades.
Tickets are limited (very limited), and once they’re out, that’s it. This isn’t one of those “don’t worry, we’ll open extra rows” situations. The venue is new, clean, modern – and capped at 2k seats.
What you’re actually getting when you show up
From November 24 through December 7, you’ll watch 32 of the world’s top teams grind through the early gauntlet. Most won’t make it. A few will break your bracket by losing games they shouldn’t. A couple you barely paid attention to will suddenly look unstoppable.
Only eight survive.
Eight teams who then move on to the big stage – the MVM Dome, where up to 20,000 fans will be screaming, waving flags, losing their minds. But honestly? There’s something special about these early stages. Up close. No giant jumbotrons between you and the players. You hear chairs creak. You see the tilt. You feel that weird buzz in the room when an underdog starts landing shots they shouldn’t land.
This is where legends start.
About the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025
The whole thing stretches across two venues and sixteen days. It’s the real thing – $1.25 million prize pool, Major status, the big trophy, all the weight a Major carries. When teams talk about “making history,” this is one of the few events where it isn’t cringe to say it out loud.
The MTK Sportpark handles Stages 1–3.
The MVM Dome takes the Playoffs (December 11–14).
And because the Dome can hold 20,000 people, that’s where you get the huge production, the fireworks, the arena-level insanity. But honestly, if you want the gritty stuff – the matches that build the mythology – you want MTK.

Common questions you’ll probably have (and the answers you need)
Will tickets be available at the venue?
Only if they’re not sold out online. And with a 2k-seat hall, yeah… don’t bet on walking up last minute.
Food & drinks?
No outside food or drinks. There’ll be bars and food courts, so you’re not going to starve. Also, no bottles, sprays, liquids – MVM Dome policy is strict.
Age restriction?
There’s no general restriction. But under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, no exceptions.
Bags and equipment?
Nothing larger than 20 × 20 × 30 cm. No professional camera or audio gear.
Refunds?
No refunds. But you can resell your ticket through Ticket Fairy’s built-in system.
Do you need an ID?
Yep. They check that the ticket name matches your identification.
Parking?
Pre-purchase only – mvmdome.funcode.hu. If you don’t have a parking ticket, don’t even try driving up. They will turn you around.
Autographs?
Yes. Reserved prime tickets get exclusive access, and open sessions for everyone else will be announced on socials.
Commentary language?
English.
Why you should reserve your ticket now and not wait
I’ll just be straight with you. Early-stage Major tickets at a small venue always disappear faster than people expect. You can’t fight math here – 2,000 seats means there are more players in FACEIT Level 10 lobbies than there are chairs in the entire building.
If you really want to experience the early electricity of a Major – before the stage lights, before the massive arena, before the narrative is already shaped – you want these MTK Sportpark days.
It’s where the first upset hits.
It’s where the favorite chokes.
It’s where a team you’ve barely watched suddenly starts looking sharp enough to go all the way.
This is the raw part. The early heartbeat of the Major.
And if you already know you’re going, just grab your ticket now. Waiting doesn’t benefit you – prices don’t drop, and seats don’t magically increase.
Where to buy
Here you go – straight to the source: Buy your ticket here.
(And yeah, that’s the real link, no runaround.)
One last thing
If you want those memories you’ll brag about for years – the “I was there when this run started” kind of stuff – you’ll get them in these group stages, not only in the Playoffs. The Playoffs are the fireworks. Stages 1–3 are the spark.
So pick your days. Grab your bundles. And I’ll say it again because it’s true:
Tickets are limited. Get your seat now while you still can.
