The Danish multigaming esports organization Team Singularity have officially announced on their website that they have parted ways with their Danish CS: GO roster and acquired a new team.
The announcement states that the move marks a start of a new page in the history of the now Danish-Russian organization.

Team Singularity’s story
Singularity was founded back in April 2016. Throughout the course of the history, the Danish organization had various rosters in multiple esports titles, such as CS: GO. They were shutting down their CS: GO divisions but coming back again in a few months with a new team.
Danish era
The organization’s lineup consisted of the CS: GO team from their home country in 2016-2017. This team won CS: GO tournaments such as Danmark League #1, beating famous Tricked Esport 2:1 in the finals, and also won second season of the same league – Danmark League #2.
The Danes came second at Danish Championship 2017, and also managed to take first places at Copenhagen Games 2017 and Hellcase Cup #4 tournaments.
Singularity’s Swedish lineup
Their Swedish CS: GO lineup was active throughout 2017-2018. The Swedes are known for finishing second at one of the b tier tournaments titled CSGO.NET Cup 2, where they showed up stronger than Kazakhstani CS: GO giants AVANGAR.
Rosters from United States
Singularity’s United States’ CS: GO teams played for the organization throughout the longer period of time in 2018-2020. It is interesting to note that they had multiple completely different rosters.
The first US team managed to win the World Electronic Sports Games USA event in Huntington Beach, CA, which was held in November 2018. To win the event, they defeated Swole Patrol in the final match.
Team Singularity secured $20,000 and a slot at World Electronic Sports Games 2018 grand finals in Chongqing, China for taking first place in this tournament
The other Singularity’s US lineup won first place at the National Championship Series: Major – Chicago in 2019.
Finally, the last iteration of the US roster managed to finish only 7th-8th at ESL Pro League Season 10 – Americas in November 2019. The organization acted accordingly and terminated contracts with the players in January 2020.
The latest CS: GO roster
Team Singularity have gone a completely new way when they just recently signed a new Russian-speaking CS: GO squad. The organization already has some experience working with players from EU and CIS in other esports titles, such as Valorant and Dota 2. The organization’s Dota 2 team had mixed results during the Dota Pro Circuit season in 2019-2020 .
Talking about the fresh Counter-Strike lineup, it is remarkable for containing two star CS players: Ladislav Kovacs, who is better known in the esports community as GuardiaN, and also Denis “seized” Kostin – two former Na’Vi players, who are able to fluently communicate with the other Russians on the team.
GuardiaN
GuardiaN is one of the most established snipers on the CS: GO scene. He is known for his star performances with Na’Vi and FaZe Clan. Kovacs played more than four years for Na’Vi throughout 2013-2017 and also two years in FaZe. He returned to Natus Vincere in 2019 and went inactive in 2021.
The legendary 30-year-old Slovak CS: GO player and AWPer has earned multiple titles with many of his former teams, such as finishing first at the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017 championship, where his FaZe defeated mighty Astralis with the 2:0 score to secure a prize pool of $500,000.
GuardiaN’s biggest career winnings include Esports Championship Series Season 4 – Finals in December 2017, and also one of the EPICENTER series tournament, which was held in 2018, where his FaZe team defeated his former Na’Vi team 2:0 to secure a $150,000 prize.
His most prestigious wins with Na’Vi team include first place at ESL One series competition in New York in 2016, with 2:1 score in the finals against then Polish CS: GO roster from Virtus.pro, and second place and $150,000 at MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016, where Kovacs suffered a 0:2 loss to star Brazilian CS: GO team from Luminosity Gaming.
Seized
The second star player in the roster, seized is most known for competing as a captain and support player in the Na’Vi team. Like many other Counter-Strike professionals, Kostin transitioned from CS 1.6 to CS: GO in 2012.
Denis continued his professional career in the newer iteration of the esports title, playing for teams such as RuSh3D, dAT Team, the organization that hosts CS: GO cup with the same name, zNation and Begrip Gaming‘s CIS-based CS: GO lineup.
seized joined Natus Vincere in 2013. Sometimes nicknamed as “decoy” by the community after the incident on de_cobblestone against mousesports and some controversial words from the commentators, the player also played with teams such as Gambit Esports, Vega Squadron, which is also known for its youth team, and also Trident Clan.
His biggest career winnings are MLG Columbus 2016 Major and ESL One: New York 2016 event, where he played for Na’Vi team together with his teammate GuardiaN.
The Russian CS: GO athlete who just turned 27 also managed to earn $150,000 for winning the 3rd place match at World Electronic Sports Games 2017 in Haikou, China, where he successfully competed for Team Russia against Brazilian CS: GO Team One.
