According to the report, Real Madrid have given the green light for Mastantuono to leave on a temporary basis, which is expected to accelerate talks between the two clubs in the weeks ahead. Tottenham are specifically targeting a versatile wide attacker, and the Argentine fits that profile.
Limited Minutes at the Bernabéu
Mastantuono arrived at Real Madrid last summer from River Plate, where he had drawn attention from multiple top European clubs. The move came after intense competition for his signature, but breaking into a stacked Real Madrid attack has proven difficult for the teenager in his debut season.
Across 35 appearances in all competitions, he has accumulated fewer than 1,500 minutes of game time, contributing three goals and one assist. The numbers are modest, but his reputation as one of South America’s brightest young talents has not dimmed.
