Since early December, several well-known insiders who write about CS:GO spoke about the possible transition of Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov from Na’Vi Junior in G2.
Rumors about the transition of the 16-year-old player appeared in mid-November. Then we reported that the G2 team is also considering several other potential candidates for the transfer.
What is known now
OverDrive insides
Russian insider Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov said on his Twitter that G2 and Na’Vi agreed on the price of Osipov’s transfer, but Na’Vi set too strict contract rules. G2 co-founder Carlos Rodriguez disagrees with the clause that Na’Vi has the right to buy back m0NESY at any time, even if the player will have a current contract with the G2 organization.
Also, OverDrive noted that in addition to Osipov, the organization is interested in two more players, in particular Aleksib and ropz. He also said that the Kovac brothers are untouchable in the organization, and they certainly will not leave the team.
There could be 3 options for G2:
+m0NESY
+m0NESY +Ropz
+m0NESY +Ropz +Aleksib
Niko and Hunter are the untouchables.

Nel insides
French journalist and insider nEL, known for his high percentage of reliable information, reports that G2 is willing to pay $600,000 for the Na’Vi junior. In doing so, nEL writes that Na’Vi could get solid bonuses in contact in addition to the player’s high value. The author did not specify what exactly is meant by “bonuses”.
Additional information in the report:
– Price approximately around $600k + bonuses.
– No decision atm on who he's replacing. Kovacs counsins are safe, AmaNEk most likely to go atm.
– nexa visa issues could be a problem and change things.— neL (@neLendirekt) December 10, 2021
By the way, nEL said that the contract does not have an instant buyback clause. That is, if the main Na’Vi squad suddenly needs a replacement in the near future, it will certainly not m0NESY. Also, the insider confirmed the thesis OverDrive, that the Bosnian Niko and hunter will not leave the team. According to nEL, G2 bosses do not yet know who to put on the bench if m0NESY is signed. However, as we wrote earlier, it could very likely be AmanEk.
