Vitality Dominates NAVI 3-0 to Claim BLAST Open Spring 2026 Title
Vitality swept NAVI 3-0 in the BLAST Open Spring grand final, capturing the $250,000 first-place prize with a clinical display across all three maps. The scorelines reflected the margin of their superiority: 13-7 on Inferno, 13-10 on Anubis, 13-10 on Dust2. NAVI secured $160,000 for second place.
Robin “ropz” Kool emerged as the tournament’s standout performer, posting a 7.8 rating across the three maps. His presence dominated the server at every turn, neutralizing NAVI‘s aggression through sharp reads and immaculate positioning that suffocated their usual playbook.
The turning point came on Dust2, where NAVI‘s structure crumbled. Mihai “iM” Ivan posted a 4.1 rating on the final map, a dramatic drop that exposed NAVI‘s vulnerability. When an entry player fails to secure opening kills, the entire T-side system fractures. Vitality exploited this relentlessly.
While Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and Shahar “flameZ” Shushan delivered in critical moments, NAVI‘s riflers couldn’t match Vitality‘s firepower or discipline. The Dutch organization answered every question about their form heading into the playoffs, confirming their status as the team to beat.

BLAST Open Fall 2026 Heading to Porto
BLAST has confirmed that BLAST Premier Open S2 2026 will take place at the Super Bock Arena in Porto from September 4-6. The event marks the organization’s fourth event in Portugal and its first time in the city. Sixteen teams will compete at BLAST’s Copenhagen studios, with six advancing to the live arena stage. The prize pool totals $1.1 million including participation fees.
Portugal has hosted BLAST in Lisbon three times previously (2018, 2022, and 2025). Porto joins Rotterdam, Fort Worth, and Hong Kong on the 2026 BLAST Premier calendar as the circuit expands into new markets. Programme Director Anne Banschbach described Portugal’s fanbase as “some of the most passionate Counter-Strike fans in the world.”

Ropz Clinches BLAST Open Rotterdam MVP After Dominant Playoff Performance
Robin “ropz” Kool has earned the BLAST Open Rotterdam HLTV x 1XBET Most Valuable Player award, becoming the first-ever Vitality player not named Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut to win the medal.
The Estonian’s breakthrough came from behind after he took a secondary role during the first two group stage matches, with ZywOo and Shahar “flameZ” Shushan delivering standout performances. The playoff stage, however, belonged entirely to ropz.
Dominant Playoff Statistics
Ropz was the clear player of the map on three occasions in the playoffs, tied William “mezii” Merriman on map two of the grand final for a fourth peak. His fifth-best playoff map still registered a 1.28 rating with a 97.0 ADR in the first half.
Overall, ropz averaged a 1.54 rating in the arena with 1.20 kills per round win. This outpaced ZywOo‘s 1.28 rating (0.97 KPRW) and flameZ‘s 1.28 rating (0.95 KPRW).
Including the seeding match against PARIVISION, ropz maintained a 1.42 rating. Against top-10 opposition, both ropz and ZywOo earned six EVP+ maps, while flameZ recorded five. Ropz’s standout performances accumulated deeper into the tournament, explaining his leap past the strong displays from flameZ and ZywOo.
The Vacuum Left by Inconsistency
ZywOo produced no player of the map showings during the arena events. flameZ led the race entering Championship Sunday but collapsed with a 1.01 rating and a negative K-D spread, creating an opening ropz exploited entirely. His carry performance secured the title for Vitality.
This represents ropz’s sixth career medal and his first since CAC 2023. Prior to Rotterdam, he came close at StarLadder Budapest. What separates this achievement is his consistent impact across every playoff map, a demonstration of his proven ability to elevate when it matters most.
