Napoli have secured the permanent signing of Denmark striker Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United for a fee of €50 million ($58.08 million), with both clubs confirming the deal on Wednesday. The transfer follows a loan spell that proved productive for the Italian side.

The 23-year-old posted 16 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions last season, contributing to Napoli‘s Supercoppa Italiana triumph and a Serie A runners-up finish.
Hojlund originally joined United from Atalanta in 2023, going on to score 26 goals in 95 appearances for the Premier League club. He was part of the squad that lifted the FA Cup in May 2024, appearing as a substitute in the final against Manchester City at Wembley. The forward returned to Italy at the start of the 2025-26 campaign on a season-long loan before the permanent deal was finalised.
