BC.Game have finally brought one of the longest-running off-season sagas to an end. The organisation has completed the signing of the SAW trio — Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes, Adones “krazy” Nobre and António “aragornN” Barbosa — officially locking in the core of a roster rebuild that has been months in the making.
The Portuguese trio will join Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and Denis “electroNic” Sharipov, the two remaining cornerstones of BC.Game’s ambitious overhaul that began at the end of last season.
MUTiRiS to Captain the New-Look BC.Game
MUTiRiS will take over in-game leadership duties, bringing veteran experience to a lineup that blends proven superstars with emerging Portuguese talent. The move sees BC.Game acquire the heart of a SAW team that currently sits 22nd in the global VRS rankings, instantly giving structure and identity to a project that had previously lacked direction.
This signing spree follows a series of decisive departures. BC.Game had already benched Aleksandar “CacaNito” Kjulukoski and parted ways with Nemanja “nexa” Isaković and head coach Luka “emi” Vuković earlier in the off-season. Andreas “aNdu” Maasing, who joined at the end of July, has now also been benched as the rebuild reaches its final phase.
From HEROIC Talks to a Portuguese Core
BC.Game entered the winter break under pressure after finishing the season outside the top 80 in the VRS — a stark contrast to the expectations created by the blockbuster arrivals of s1mple and electroNic from Natus Vincere and Virtus.pro.
Initially, the organisation explored acquiring HEROIC’s core, but negotiations ultimately collapsed. That impasse forced BC.Game to pivot, and SAW’s roster quickly emerged as the most viable alternative, especially with the Portuguese organisation already in discussions to sell João “story” Vieira and André “Ag1l” Gil.
A Blend of Experience and Untapped Potential
While MUTiRiS is one of Portugal’s most experienced Counter-Strike figures — with a career stretching back to the 1.6 era — krazy and aragornN represent a very different profile. The duo only stepped into tier-one Counter-Strike six months ago, when SAW returned to a fully Portuguese lineup after a short-lived international experiment.
Now, they’ll be tasked with adapting to the highest expectations of their careers alongside two of the most decorated players in CS history.
