Barcelona Target Lower Fee for Marcus Rashford Permanent Move
Marcus Rashford remains a focal point of transfer activity after a productive loan spell at Barcelona. The Catalan club holds an option to buy the Manchester United forward for £26 million at the end of the current season. Reports from Spanish publication Sport indicate that agent Arturo Canales has met with Barcelona sporting director Deco to finalize the player’s path forward.
Deco is currently pushing to negotiate a reduced price below the initial valuation. While Barcelona hope for a discount, there is no signal they will walk away from the transfer if Manchester United insist on the full amount. Marcus Rashford has delivered 10 goals and 13 assists during his time in Spain. Despite a recent injury layoff, he returned to the squad as a substitute during the victory against Levante.
