TYLOO have written a new chapter in CS2 history, claiming their first international LAN title with a 3-1 triumph over Astralis in the grand final of FISSURE Playground 1. TYLOO
Astralis
SAWDespite entering the tournament without their full lineup, TYLOO stunned the scene. They had to field their coach, WeiJie “zhokiNg” Zhong, in place of star AWPer Dongkai “Jee” Ji during the group stage. Even so, they dispatched Astralis 2-1 in that early clash, setting the tone for what was to come.

JamYoung’s Playground
The star of the show? Yi “JamYoung” Yang. With a 1.59 rating in the group stage win over Astralis and an equally dominant 1.45 in the final, his performance was nothing short of legendary. A 99.3 ADR, 0.97 KPR, and 1.76 impact rating made it impossible to ignore: the man was in god-mode.
Map-by-Map Breakdown
Inferno — Astralis 13-11 TYLOO
TYLOO stormed to a 4-0 start with Attacker and Mercury chaining multi-kills, but a crucial 1v3 clutch by HooXi flipped the momentum. Despite strong mid-game resistance, Astralis edged the Chinese side in the opener.
Nuke — TYLOO 13-3 Astralis
Absolute domination. Jee’s hyper-mobile AWP wreaked havoc, while JamYoung tore through the Danes with impunity. Moseyuh and Mercury iced the map with a clutch each. This one wasn’t close.
Mirage — TYLOO 16-14 Astralis
JamYoung’s 1v3 and Attacker’s 1v2 clutches brought TYLOO back into it after a slow start. Astralis hit map point at 12-9, but TYLOO rallied to force OT and closed it out 16-14, riding a wave of resilience.
Ancient — TYLOO 13-10 Astralis
A 5-0 opener and another quad-kill pistol from JamYoung saw TYLOO surge ahead. Though Astralis equalized at 10-10, TYLOO showed composure to close out the final three rounds and lift the trophy.
MVP Glory for JamYoung
Moments after TYLOO hoisted the trophy, JamYoung received his first-ever HLTV x 1XBET MVP medal — and made history as the first Chinese player to do so. With a 1.40 overall rating, 96.2 ADR, and +3.93% round swing, his performance was undeniable.
The feat is even more poetic considering his near-departure to VALORANT in late 2024. Instead, he chose to return to TYLOO — and in just six months, helped lift them from #87 to #7 in the world.
What’s Next?
No time to rest. TYLOO and Astralis both head straight to IEM Cologne Stage 1 kicking off July 23. With momentum on their side, all eyes will be on TYLOO to see if they can keep up the heat.
