MOUZKey to the victory was a phenomenal all-round team effort, led by Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko, whose 1v3 clutch on Dust2 flipped the script when momentum seemed firmly in FaZe’s favor. The Israeli star finished with a stellar 1.48 rating and +17 K/D.
“We have definitely improved since Cologne, but so have they,” said Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač post-match. “I respect them a lot. I know they respect us. I’m looking forward to it.”
The stage is now set for a fiery semi-final clash between G2 and FURIA, a revenge narrative in the making after the Brazilians knocked them out at IEM Cologne.
Inferno: FaZe Collapse Repeats Itself
FaZe’s choice to leave Inferno open backfired — again. Despite winning most of the opening duels (8-4), their defense crumbled, salvaging only four CT rounds. Only frozen offered resistance with an 81.6 ADR, but it wasn’t enough to halt the G2 avalanche.
Second-half aggression from G2 ended things quickly, sealed by huNter- and HeavyGod combining for a B-site double to close it 13-5.
Dust2: Double OT Mayhem
FaZe found early footing on Dust2 behind a jcobbb quad-kill and a wild broky 1v3 clutch. They pulled ahead 6-6 by halftime and looked poised to close when they went up by four rounds.
But then came HeavyGod’s magic moment — a 1v3 clutch that resurrected G2. The match pushed into overtime after karrigan’s 1v2 clutch, but in double OT, G2 locked down the map with flawless defense and sealed the deal 19-15.

MOUZ End M80’s Dream Run with Convincing Series Win
On the other side of the bracket, MOUZ ended M80’s surprise playoff run with a 2-1 victory (13-10 Ancient, 9-13 Mirage, 13-3 Inferno). The result books them a semi-final duel with Vitality, setting up a mouth-watering clash of form versus legacy.
Despite MOUZ’s shaky win rate on Ancient, Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás had warned fans not to read too deeply into it. “If teams look closer, they’ll see we’re a really good Ancient team,” he said — and the team delivered just that.
Ancient: MOUZ Power Past the Stats
M80’s slaxz- came out hot, but MOUZ’s mid-round pushes and sheer firepower proved too much. M80 clawed back to 9-9 after Lake’s ace, but a clutch 3v5 from MOUZ closed the map at 13-10.
Mirage: M80 Bites Back
A 10-2 CT half from M80 almost slipped through their fingers as Brollan and torzsi staged a comeback, but a timely 1v2 from HexT edged them the win.
Inferno: Spinx Steals the Spotlight
Inferno was all MOUZ. Lotan “Spinx” Giladi exploded with 15 kills in the first half, including an ace. With a 10-2 CT side to start, they rolled to a swift 13-3 finish.
