Blues End Sponsor Search with IFS Partnership
Chelsea have struck a deal with AI technology company IFS—ending their run as the only Premier League club without a permanent front-of-shirt sponsor. The agreement kicks off immediately, with IFS branding set to appear on the men’s team jerseys this Saturday when Liam Rosenior’s side hosts Burnley at Stamford Bridge.
The women’s team will also debut the new sponsor on Sunday, as Sonia Bompastor’s squad faces Manchester United in the Women’s Super League.
Though the IFS logo will move off the front of the shirt next summer, the broader partnership runs through 2028. The club is reportedly targeting around £65 million per season for their next long-term front-of-shirt deal—signaling confidence in their commercial appeal.
Chelsea had been without a permanent sponsor since their agreement with telecommunications firm Three expired in 2023. Since then, they’ve rotated short-term deals with Infinite Athlete and property developer Damac.
The IFS deal arrives at a pivotal moment for the club, as they push to solidify their financial footing while navigating a transitional period on and off the pitch.
