Valve introduced a new Dota 2 hero, which will soon be added to the client. The new hero is Marci – the companion of Mirana from the anime series DOTA: Dragon’s Blood. By the way, the second season of the anime series was also announced at The International 10.
Update is promised in the fall, so we have to wait a little longer. But the second season of the series will be released in January.
According to the plot of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Marci is Mirana’s friend. In the anime series Marci is shown as a brave and skillful warrior who can deal with a lot of opponents. The community assumes that Agility will be the main attribute of the hero, and Marci will be the most suitable for the carry position.
Notably, Marci in the anime series doesn’t talk at all, so lines about her will most likely be added to her friends from the anime. According to the storyline, the character is mute.
There’s also the question of what role Marci will play in the Dota world’s lore, since the character is not connected to it in any way apart from the anime series.
