The start date moved, the finish did not

Originally the event was pencilled in for September 17. PGL pushed the opening day back by two days, with the update appearing on the operator’s official site. The closing date stayed untouched at September 27, so the schedule is simply compressed rather than shifted wholesale. Two fewer days of Dota with the same number of teams usually means denser playdays, and honestly, that is good news for anyone who has tried to follow a nine-day group stage without sleeping.

On-site talent in Bucharest

Richard Lewis and Sheever share hosting duties, with a four-person analyst desk behind them. The casting booth in Romania is stacked: ODPixel, Fogged, SUNSfan and syndereN all travel in.
