Tuchel makes tough omissions ahead of Wembley clash
Alex Scott and Marc Guehi have been left out of England’s squad for Thursday’s World Cup qualifier against Serbia at Wembley.
The uncapped Bournemouth midfielder Scott was handed his first senior international call-up by manager Thomas Tuchel last week after an impressive start to the season. However, he has not been included in the 23-man party for the crucial match.
Guehi, the Crystal Palace captain, continues to recover from a foot injury and will miss out on the opportunity to represent his country.
England will travel to Albania for their final qualification game on Sunday, aiming to secure their place in the tournament.

On Tuesday, Scott expressed his excitement about his initial call-up, calling it a “dream come true.”
