Napoli have secured a major addition to their attacking ranks with a full agreement in place to sign Dutch international Noa Lang from PSV Eindhoven. The 26-year-old winger is expected to complete a permanent move to the reigning Serie A champions after both clubs concluded negotiations successfully.
Lang has been on Napoli’s radar since the January transfer window. However, PSV’s sporting director Earnest Stewart blocked the move earlier this year, emphasizing the club’s title ambitions. “We were top of the table at the winter break,” Stewart told NOS. “To sell one of our best players then? Everyone thought we were mad. We made a conscious decision not to, and we communicated that clearly to Noa and his agent.”
Now, according to NOS Sport, the green light has been given. Lang is poised to sign a five-year contract with the Partenopei, where he’ll reportedly earn €2.5 million annually. Transfer insider Nicolò Schira revealed the financials: a base fee of €25 million plus an additional €4 million in performance-related bonuses.
Lang’s pedigree speaks for itself. A graduate of Feyenoord and Ajax’s academies, he made his mark at Club Brugge before moving to PSV in 2023 for €12 million. In just two seasons at the Philips Stadion, Lang racked up 19 goals and 14 assists in 63 appearances—a solid return that underscores his consistency and creative spark.
For Napoli, the acquisition is strategic. Lang’s flair, pace, and attacking intelligence fit seamlessly into their fluid front line. With this signing, the Scudetto holders not only strengthen their depth but also make a bold statement about their ambitions for domestic and European success.
