The 1st team to qualify for PGL Major Antwerp has been determined following the conclusion of a match between Heroic and NAVI, with the danish team coming out on top of a three-map series against current champions of the Major to lock in their spot in the New Legends Stage. During the first game day of EU RMR A, Heroic beat forZe (16:9) and fnatic (16:9). In their turn, Natus Vincere managed to win against QUAZAR and OG.

NAVI won their pick, Mirage, with a score of 16:11. Heroic managed to show the strong offensive side on Inferno, 10:5, which helped them to equal the score in the series. On the decider map, Nuke, Heroic minimally won the first half 8:7. Winning the second pistol round, first buy-round, several times successfully executing B site, Heroic smashed NAVI 16:9, and secured the Legend spot in Belgium.

NAVI has now a score of 2-1 in a Swiss Stage, and they will play tomorrow one more match for a slot for Major in Belgium, but their chance for the Legend spot became smaller after losing to Heroic.

QUAZAR and Unique played the first elimination match at this RMR tournament. Both teams lost yesterday, the Russian team – NAVI and MOUZ, Unique – Outsiders and SAW. QUAZAR finally won Ancient 16:10, which they played on the first day of the game. The Russian team had a chance to take Overpass, lost the first half minimally 7-8, but Unique smashed the opponent on the defense side and won the second half 8:0. On the decider map, Dust 2, thanks to smiley’s performance, Unique destroyed opponent 16:5, survived on day two. QUAZAR was the first team to leave the tournament.

Tomorrow, Unique will have one more elimination match, against the team with score a of 1-2. To qualify for the Major, the team from Kazakhstan needs to win two more matches.
