From June 3-22, 2025, BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 (USA), the first Major of the year in Counter-Strike 2, will took place in Austin, Texas! At the Moody Center, 32 top teams from around the world competed for the title and a share of the $1,250,000 prize pool. The tournament promises was historic: 32 teams played in the Major for the first time, and the event returned to North America after a seven-year break. Below we have prepared the results of all matches at each stage of the tournament.
Stage 1 (June 3-6)
The first three stages of the tournament were held using the Swiss system with 16 teams participating. The top 8 teams advanced to each next stage. Matches played in the best-of-1 format, and promotion or elimination will be decided in the best-of-3 format. 8 teams will advance to the playoff stage.
The French organisation Team Vitality lifted the main trophy of the first part of the season in Counter-Strike 2. Thanks to this victory, the team earned $500,000.
