Unai Emery has not waited to identify targets for 2026-27. Fellow Roma forward Matias Soule has already been linked with a move to Villa Park, theoretically as a replacement for Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho. Koné‘s name now joins that shortlist as a player Villa want to negotiate a deal for.
