Icelandic Esports League Season 7 Regular Season is a C-Tier online tournament happening only in Iceland with just Iceland teams, and started in the end of 2022 and will finish in February 2023. The tournament features 10 teams, and those 10 teams will go head to head in order to find which 4 best, will go into playoffs, and be automatically qualified for Season 8, which 4 will go into Challenger Cup, where they will still have another chance to fight for playoffs, which team will be set for Relegation (9th on the leaderboard) and which will be sent for Division 1 (10th on the leaderboard). The format of this regular season works like this: All teams play against each other twice, all matches are BO1, and we might have some tiebreakers. Like said previously, 4 teams from the regular season will advance directly into playoffs, but the other 4 teams that we need for playoffs will come from Challenger Cup, and with those 8 teams we will have the playoffs from this tournament. It will take place at the end of March and it´s a single elimination bracket, with this time, all matches will be BO3, if you lose, you are out of the tournament. The quarterfinals from the playoffs will be played online, while the semifinals and the Grand Finals will be played on LAN in Kopavur, behind the Iceland crowd where we will crown the champion. Dust 2 is a map that still can be picked, alongside Anubis. The winner from last Season 6 was Dusty that took down Thor in the grand finals.
