In this season 4, 8 teams will participate, 5 teams came from Season 3, the winners ex-TouchTheCrown, the runner up Entropy Gaming, and Epic Dudes, Snogard Dragons, and Sissi State Punks were all teams coming from Season 3. Sunburn Reunion and Munich Esports came from Relegation, however, ex-TeamBash NXT, were also supposed to come from Relegation, but they were unable to attend the tournament, so Divizon were invited to replace them. There are 2 stages in this tournament, the regular stage and the playoffs.
In the regular season, is a single round robin format leaderboard, where all the teams will play against each other once and once only, all matches are BO2, so it may happen, and we will definitely have some tied games. The top 4 teams will proceed into playoffs, fifth and sixth players will stay in Division 1, while bottom 2 teams, seventh and eight placed teams, will be sent into relegation.
When it comes to playoffs, we will have a double elimination bracket, so 2 losses will get you out of the competition, but there are second chances after the first loss, so we will have a lower bracket as well, and all matches will be BO3, the upper bracket semifinalists will face each other in the upper bracket finale, where just a single team will go into the grand finale undefeated. And then, the loser from the upper bracket final will face the other lower bracket finalist for a lats spot in the grand final. The winner from the grand final will win the biggest prize of 5.343 dollars. Top 6 teams, out of the 8 we have in this tournament, which means the top 4 teams from the playoffs, plus the fifth and sixth players in this competition will automatically be qualified for Season 5 in this competition, while bottom 2 teams, seventh and eight places, will be sent to Relegation.
