European Pro League Season 6 is a C-Tier European online tournament, where 16 teams from Europe will go head to head fighting for a prize pool of 20.000 dollars, and the tournament will start at mid February until the beginning of March. 14 teams were invited by the organization for this tournament, but 2 came from the Division 2, Nexus Gaming and The Prodigies.

On Division 2 all 16 teams were invited, but only 2 could be able to move forward to Division 1, but these 16 teams were divided in 4 groups each with 4 teams, and we started with a group stage format, and it was a double elimination format all matches being BO3. All teams faced each other on the opening matches, and then, the winners from the opening matches faced each other on a winner´s match, and the winner from that match would be considered group stage winners and advanced directly into playoffs. The losers from the opening matches, faced each other on the elimination´s match, and the loser from that match got eliminated, and got fourth placed in the group stage. However, the loser from the winner´s match and the winner from the loser´s match faced each other on an all or nothing decider match, that will decide everything in every single group, the winner would be second placed in the group, but move forward into playoffs, while the loser would be eliminated. Only the top 2 teams from each group advanced into playoff, 8 teams at total.

On the playoffs, the teams faced each other in a double elimination bracket, which means there were second chances, and even with a loss only 2 losses would dictate elimination. In the upper bracket quarterfinals, the first placed teams in the group faced all the second placed teams in the group stage, so they had a clear advantage, every single team that lost, would drop into the lower bracket. All matches are BO3, with the exception to the Grand Final that was a BO5, and this without any map advantage for the upper bracket finalist, that was the first team reaching the Grand Finals without having a single loss until that point, and would have to face the lower bracket finalist, so faced a team already with a loss, but still, 3 maps were what they need to win, 2 picks from each team and a decider map. However, both teams reaching the Grand Final to fight that BO5 were qualified for the Division 1, the winner from the Grand Finals however won 5.000 dollars, while the loser won 3.000 dollars.

The format for Division 1 was exactly the same for the Division 2, this time also with 16 teams at total, 2 coming from Division 2 and 14 invited: 00 Prospects, 777 Esports, Apeks Rebels, Astralis Talent, Dynamo Eclot, FTW, IKLA, iNation, Into the Breach, Los Kogutos, Monte, MOUZ NXT, Permitta, Synck. The teams were divided in groups of 4, and have to go through opening matches, with the losers and the winners facing each other, to figure it out, a team that would be group leader, and advance directly into playoffs, and having a slight edge because will face a team coming in second place, and a team that would be eliminated. The winner from loser´s match and loser from winner´s match will fight in a decider match to see which of those teams will be the second placed in the group stage and also advance into playoffs stage.

Into playoffs stage, the format is absolutely the same, a double elimination bracket, with lower bracket, and on the upper bracket semifinals all teams faced each other, the group stage winners in this first stage, faced the second placed from the group stage randomly, so they have a slight edge. All matches being BO3, and a loss in the upper bracket would get you into the lower bracket, but a loss in the lower bracket will get you elimination from the tournament. In the Grand Finals the match is also a BO5, between the upper bracket winner, undefeated, and the lower bracket winner as well, with a single loss. However, the upper bracket winner doesn´t have a map in advance, so both 2 teams will go head to head, with the same odds. The winner form the BO5 Grand Finals, will take home the total prize of 11.000 dollars, and be crowned the champions from European Pro League Season 6, keeping in mind that the winner from Season 5 were ECSTATIC that took iNation down, 3-1 in the Grand Finals.
