The format from this tournament will be a double elimination bracket, which means teams will need to get 2 losses to be eliminated from the competition, a single loss will get you into the lower bracket and all matches will be BO3. Since there are 2 brackets, the upper bracket finalist will face the lower bracket finalist in the grand finals, which will be the only BO5 map, and the upper bracket finalist, who will not lose a single match in the competition until the Grand Final will get 1 map advantage, so the upper bracket finalist will only need to win 2 maps in the Grand Final, while the lower bracket finalist will need to win 3 maps in the Grand Final, the upper bracket finalist will already win 1-0 at the entrance of the last match. The winner from the Grand Final will get the biggest prize of 20.000 dollars and most importantly, secure a spot at ESL Pro League Season 18 at Malta. 16 out of the best 24 teams in this tournament will get qualified automatically for the ESL Challenger League Season 45, while the bottom 8 teams will be sent to Season 44 relegation, and still will have to fight for an opportunity to get into ESL Challenger League Season 45 Europe.
Those 8 teams will then face another 8 teams from ESEA Advanced, from third placed to tenth, and will fight on a double elimination bracket, with all matches being BO3, and 2 losses will get you out of the competition. Top 8 teams from this tournament, will be qualified for ESL Challenger League Season 45, and bottom 8 teams will go to ESEA Advanced Season 45.
