5E Arena Asia Cup 2023 is a C-Tier online tournament between 8 asian teams, that will take place in February and 8 asian teams will go head-to-head, fighting for a place in the Blast Spring Showdown that will take place later at the end of March. That will be the price for the winner of this tournament, and there are 2 stages in this tournament, the group stage ad the playoffs stage. 

Out of the 8 teams coming to this tournament, 4 teams were invited by the organization: Eruption, Lynn Vision Gaming, Rare Atom and Team NKT; while the other 4 teams came from the closed qualifier: Team Renewal, Tyloo, Hard and Steel Helmet. In the closed qualifier, 2 teams came from the chinese qualifier as well and an asian qualifier.

There were 2 asian qualifiers, 1 with 39 teams, and the other with 41 teams, and in both of them the format was exactly the same, a simple single elimination bracket, with all matches being BO1, but only the winners from each qualifier were able to get through the closed qualifier. However, we also had 2 chinese qualifiers, between only chinese teams, one qualifier with 135 teams and the other with 126 teams, scary numbers, but the format is the same, a single elimination bracket with all matches being BO1, and only the best teams, either from one and the other chinese qualifier, only 1 team per qualifier managed to pull through. In the closed qualifier we had a single elimination bracket, no second chances, you lose you are out of the competition, 8 teams and with all matches being BO3, we only had 4 matches, and the winners from those 4 matches were the 4 teams qualified for the main stage of 5E Arena Asian Cup 2023. 

Coming into the main stage of the tournament, the 8 teams were divided in 2 groups with 4 teams each, and each group had 2 invited teams and 2 closed qualified teams, and both groups were a double elimination format, where all matches were BO1, and the top 2 teams will advance into the playoffs stage, 2 teams from each group, meaning a total of 4 teams at the playoffs stage. All matches were BO1, but each group starts with 2 opening matches, where an invited team faces a randomly closed qualified team, and the winners from those opening matches, face each other on the winner´s match, where we find the winner of the group, and the first team from the group going into playoffs. The losers from the opening matches, also face each other in an elimination match, where the loser will be eliminated from the competition and get fourth placed in the group stage. The winner from the elimination match and the loser from the winner´s match will face each other at the decider match, it´s an all or nothing match, and the winner will get second placed in the group and move forward into the playoffs stage as well.

In the playoffs stage, the winner from group A will face second placed from group B, and the winner from group B will face second placed from group A, but this time, all matches will be BO3, and we are on a single elimination bracket, meaning if you lose, you are out of the competition, no second chances allowed. The winners from the semifinals will face each other in the Grand Final, where the winner will be crowned champions from 5E Arena Asia Cup 2023, and despite not receiving a prize in money, the winner will get automatically qualified for Blast Spring Showdown, facing several other great teams like OG, NIP and BIG Clan.
