Astralis captain Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander announced that he is going inactive. He will be replaced by Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth, who was just sitting on the bench.
The reason for gla1ve’s temporary inactivity was the joyous occasion of the birth of his child. Lucas found out he is going to be a father on March 20.
Rossander said he didn’t want to miss the experience of fatherhood, but also he would help the team prepare for the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2021 group stage as much as possible.

The gla1ve’s decision to temporarily being the bench was made before a few important tournaments. At least Astralis will play BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2021 and Intel Extreme Masters Season XVI – Fall: Europe. Perhaps they can take part in the Major in Stockholm as well.
