T1 vs Vici Gaming
The game of these teams should be really spectacular, because Vici Gaming showed that they can play at a high tempo. T1 also like to play in this playstyle. Both of these teams have a similar pool of characters, however I would note that Kuku shows a brighter offlane game than old_eLeVeN.
It seems to me that T1 can accelerate over the course of the tournament when Vici Gaming is in their peak form. You can also see that Ori makes micro mistakes when playing in the middle. This could be a major gap in the Vici Gaming defense.
T1 is a very temperamental team that likes to play aggressively, always picking the heroes for quality team fights. I think Vici Gaming will have a hard time playing against them.
I think T1 should win this series and move on. After all, they are the only team representing the SEA region.
Team Secret vs PSG.LGD
It’s hard to say what will happen in the top net between Team Secret and PSG.LGD. The European team was the only team that could win one game in the series against LGD in the group stage. In fact, these two teams are now the main contenders to win the TI and it is quite possible that we will be watching a repeat of their battle in the Grand Finals.
If we look at the bracket, we can see that LGD gave some games in the series when Team Secret didn’t lost any game.
I think Team Secret should win the series 2:1 because they are at their peak. Their drafts are always confident and their execution is top notch.
