Scott Parker Leaves Burnley Following Relegation
Scott Parker has exited his position as Head Coach at Burnley by mutual consent. The departure comes after the club officially confirmed its relegation from the Premier League, with four league fixtures remaining in the season.
Burnley released an official statement confirming the split: “Scott Parker has left his position as Head Coach of Burnley Football Club by mutual consent. Following confirmation of the Club’s relegation from the Premier League last week, Parker and the Board held discussions and mutually agreed that his time at Turf Moor would conclude.”
Parker’s Championship Success and Legacy
Despite the Premier League disappointment, Parker delivered a record-breaking 2024/25 Championship campaign. He guided Burnley to promotion with a 31-match unbeaten run, establishing 30 clean sheets during the season. The Clarets organization expressed gratitude for his tenure: “The Club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Scott for his professionalism, dedication and contribution.
