He has since appeared in over 95 competitive matches for the Foals. During the 2025/26 campaign, he assumed the captaincy while Tim Kleindienst was sidelined with an injury.
“I’ve decided to begin a new chapter in my career this summer. I understand that some people may struggle to understand my decision to leave the club. This decision was anything but easy for me. I can promise that I’ll give everything I have in every remaining game,” Reitz stated.
