Welcome to the gauntlet. Four teams enter, two advance. The format? Classic GSL with a Bo5 twist and the all-new Fearless Draft in play. That means each match removes previously picked champions, forcing deep champion pools and creative counterpicks.

This year’s format shuffles the draft deck. Fearless Draft increases champion bans with each game in a Bo5 series. Here’s how bans escalate:
- Game 1: 10 standard bans
- Game 2: +10 Fearless bans
- Game 3: +20 Fearless bans
- Game 4: +30 Fearless bans
- Game 5: +40 Fearless bans
This rule keeps the draft dynamic and forces teams to innovate under pressure. It’s no longer about hiding a comfort pick until Game 5—it’s about surviving without it.
Prize Pool: $2,000,000 on the Line
The MSI 2025 prize pool dwarfs previous years with a whopping $2 million at stake. If Riot sticks to 2024’s payout logic:
