Valorant Champions Tour 2023: LOCK// IN São Paulo, is an S-Tier Valorant Tournament, one of the biggest in the year, that will be placed on LAN in Ginasio do Ibirapuera in São Paulo in Brazil, and where 32 teams will be going head to head, fighting for a total prize pool of 500.000 dollars, and the winner will be considered the best team in the world in Valorant Esports. The tournament we will start in the middle of February and will end at the beginning of March.
Out of the 32 teams playing, some are partners, and others are invited teams from the tournament organization, let´s break them down: we have 10 EMEA Partner Teams: BBL Esports, Fnatic, Fut Esports, Giants, Karmine Corp, KOI, Natus Vincere, Team Heretics, Team Liquid and Team Vitality. 10 are Americas Partner Teams: 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, Furia Esports, Kru Esports, Leviatan, LOUD, MIBR, NRG and Sentinels. We will also have 10 Pacific Partner teams: Detonation FM, DRX, Gen G, Global Esports, Paper Rex, Rex Regum Qeon, T1, Talon Esports, ZETA Divsion and Team Secret. When it comes to the format of this competition, it´s very simple, we will only have a single elimination bracket between 32 teams, no second chances allowed, you lose you are eliminated and out of the competition, only 1 chance allowed in this major tournament. All matches will be BO3, but semifinals and grand finals match will be BO5 matches, which will be very thrilling. The winner form the grand finals will be crowned in Brazil the champion of Valorant Champions Tour 2023: LOCK// in Sao Paulo and will win one of the biggest prizes of them all of 100.00 dollars.
