To boost their chances, the Baku side ideally needs to pick up points in Liverpool, although with favorable results in parallel matches of their closest rivals, even a defeat might suffice for the visitors. This season’s version of Liverpool does not inspire confidence in terms of stability – heavy defeats to PSV (1:4) and Nottingham Forest (0:3) clearly demonstrate the team’s vulnerability. In two of their three home Champions League matches, the “Reds” conceded more than one goal. Qarabag, meanwhile, has repeatedly proven their character and quality, earning points in clashes with Benfica, Chelsea, and Eintracht.

In the Champions League, Juve is also in great shape: three consecutive wins and 12 points give fans hope even for a top-8 finish.
In my view, the “Bianconeri” should take this match and count on favorable results in parallel games. Current form makes the Turinese significantly stronger than their opponents, even though both sides need a result.

Their opponents also included Athletic Bilbao and Bodø/Glimt, with whom the Prague club settled for draws; while the former can be considered a success, Slavia can only blame themselves for the match against the Norwegian side.
Three days before this Champions League game, Pafos played a national championship match where they lost to AEK Larnaca (1:2). The hosts benefit from better competitive rhythm and their home arena.
