TSM have been, objectively, one of the poorer teams in the summer season. Their win rate ahead of this weekend sits at 28.6%, but it’s the average deaths per game of 14.3, a tower differential at 15 minutes of 0.0, and the fact that they’ve only been ahead at the 15-minute mark twice that truly sum up how difficult things have been for them.
They’ll take on Cloud9 after the long break to try and breathe some life into this campaign, but even Cloud9’s middling start to the season isn’t enough evidence that they’ll face too many issues in playing TSM as they push for a playoff spot.

They’ve suffered more deaths per game than any side in the league this season with 14.3 per game, which is at the heart of the problems they currently face. The likes of Tactical need to improve immediately. He has averaged 3.87 kills, 3 deaths, 3.74 assists with a KDA of 2.54. This isn’t going to be enough against a side like Cloud 9 but they’ll take heart from one of their wins against Cloud 9 from last season.

Cloud9 will be glad that their next opponent is TSM but they’ll have to work for the win; it won’t be handed to them on a plate. Cloud9 have made a poor start to the season by their standard, having already lost four of their seven games.
They were second on the league table last time out with 13 wins out of their 18 games before bowing out in Round 2 to Evil Geniuses. One more loss and they’ll be tied for the same number of losses as last season.
They currently sit in 6th place, which is still good enough for a playoffs spot but they’re expected to do a lot more. They’ve only managed 8.6 kills per game, which is awfully low for a side with their reputation. The likes of Fudge will be under pressure to put in a big performance. He has averaged 3.38 kills, 1.81 deaths, and 5.52 assists.
