LCS Summer 2022

The second and the final regular split in the League of Legends yearly regional lifecycle, LCS Summer 2022, is back as the primary North American league. Filled to the brim with the best American - and sometimes international - talent and rivalries the region has to offer, the league is here to write a new history in the good old format.

As usual with official Riot-partnered leagues, LCS hosts ten top-tier teams competing for a chance to prove their worth. As Summer is the final split before the yearly World Championship, the teams also compete for an opportunity to earn a ticket there through the Double-Round-Robin gauntlet. In the regular season, the matches are played in the best-of-one format. The league lasts two months.

LCS is all about rivalries - and this season is no exception. The reigning champions who won their title in Spring Playoffs, Evil Geniuses, are looking to extend their legacy by securing a World Championship seed.
