Week four will have some very close games, that can have a massive impact on how the standings will pan out.

Without further ado, let’s go into the first series of the week, The Guard vs XSET.
The Guard vs XSET match prediction

The Guard looked much better last week versus Team Solo Mid, winning the series 2-0 with two convincing performances from the reigning champions, that finally got their first win in the tournament.
They have gone back to their old roles and found a lot of success on them versus Team Solo Mid.
However, the fact that they went back to their old roles makes the team a little bit more predictable, since they haven’t changed a lot of their setups, and executes, which can make them more predictable to play against.
But they also feel very comfortable with those agent compositions and know those setups like the palm of their hand, and know what to do in certain situations.
Individually they also had a massive step up versus Team Solo Mid last week, especially Sayaplayer who on Jett looked amazing and was one of the keys for The Guard 2-0 series victory, and was good to also see the remaining of The Guard roster to come back and perform closer to the level we expect from them.
After all, they still are the reigning North American champions.
XSET comes from an upset loss versus 100 Thieves 2-0. It’s of an upset because of the way they lost. 100 Thieves looked the better team during the entire series and convincingly won both maps.
It was expected that XSET would at least put up more of a fight, especially if you look at how well they performed versus NRG and Ghost Gaming.
One thing that XSET is very good at is preparation. They always have a plan and are very good at preparing for their opponents, so expect XSET to be ready for whatever The Guard throw at them.
I think that The Guard will come out on top in this one. The team is coming from the first win in the tournament where they looked really good, and will ride that momentum to win against XSET and reenter the playoff run.

The Guard also looked better individually last week, and if Sayaplayer keeps us this form XSET will have a hard task ahead of them.
