Teams that Qualified for Masters 2: Copenhagen

The playoffs have concluded for all the regions in the VCT circuit, and most teams that qualified for Masters 2: Copenhagen have been decided this past weekend. As the second international event of 2022 is quickly approaching, it is time to look at which teams qualified for Masters 2: Copenhagen.

North America:

The teams that qualified from the North American region are:

•  XSET*
•  OpTic Gaming**

*XSET claimed the first seed for North America after defeating OpTic Gaming 3-1 in the Grand Finals of North America Stage 2: Challengers.

**OpTic Gaming is the second seed for North America after losing to XSET in the Grand Finals.

EMEA:

The teams that qualified from the EMEA region are:

•  Fnatic*
•  FunPlus Phoenix**
•  Guild Esports***

*Fnatic earned the first seed for EMEA after defeating FunPlus Pheonix 3-0 in the Grand Finals of the EMEA Stage 2: Challengers.

**FunPlus Pheonix earned the second seed for EMEA after defeating Guild Esports in the Lower Finals.

***Guild Esports is the third seed for EMEA after defeating M3 Champions 2-0 in the Upper Finals and losing to Fnatic and FunPlus Pheonix in the upper and lower finals, respectively.

Brazil:

The team that qualified from Brazil is:

•  LOUD*

*LOUD earned qualification to Masters 2: Copenhagen after defeating Ninjas in Pyjamas 3-0 in the BR Stage 2: Challengers Grand Finals.

LATAM:

The team that qualified from LATAM is:

•  Leviatán*

*Leviatán qualified for Masters 2: Copenhagen after defeating KRÜ Esports 3-0 in the LATAM Stage 2: Challengers Grand Finals.

APAC:

The teams that qualified from the APAC region are:

•  Paper Rex*
•  XERXIA Esports**

*Paper Rex secured the first seed for APAC after defeating XERXIA Esports in the APAC Stage 2: Challengers Grand Finals.

** XERXIA Esports is the second seed for APAC after defeating Team Secret 2-1 in the Lower Finals and losing to Paper Rex in the Grand Finals

Korea:

The team that will represent Korea is:

•  DRX*

*DRX earned qualification to Masters 2: Copenhagen after defeating Maru Gaming 3-0 in the Grand Finals of the KR Stage 2: Challengers.

Japan:

•  NORTHEPTION*

*NORTHEPTION qualified for Masters 2: Copenhagen after defeating ZETA DIVISION 3-1 in the Grand Finals of the Japan Stage 2: Challengers.

BR/LATAM LCQ:

•  / Winner of Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. KRÜ Esports*

*The winner in the Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. KRÜ Esports will be the final team attending Masters 2: Copenhagen. This match will be played on June 30th.

Masters 2: Copenhagen will begin on July 10th to July 24th, where we will see the best teams from each region compete for a world title.
