Team BDS will go up against Misfits Gaming on Friday in their sixth game of the LEC 2022 Summer season. The league has been underway since 17 June, 2022, and will end on 14 August, 2022. It follows a double round robin format with 10 teams participating in it before heading into a playoffs round where only the top-6 can qualify. The matches are best of one.
Both sides are really struggling at the moment with only one win each so far.
Team BDS vs Misfits Gaming Match Prediction
Team BDS’ biggest positive is that they’ve registered a win
Any hopes of improving or making a good start to build up some momentum has already been lost. BDS Gaming only won four of their matches in the league last time out and it looks like they’re going to be playing catch up to everyone else once again. They’re not dead last because two other sides, including their upcoming opponent, have also only won one of their last five matches. That one win, funnily enough, came against the Spring champions G2 Esports, which shocked everyone.
There are positives so far – for instance, their aggression cannot be questioned with a first blood rate of 80% in the tournament so far, which complements a decent first tower rate of 60%. But they haven’t been capitalizing on their strong starts, and go on to win only 33% of the games in which they’re ahead at the 15-minute mark.
They’ll need to conjure up something similar to their performance against G2 against most opponents because they’re really short on quality. They’ll hope that their Mid Laner, NUCLEARINT, can put on a show. He has averaged 3.09 kills, 2.48 deaths, 4.96 assists and a KDA of 3.25 this. He seems to have really improved in recent weeks but will need a lot more to take Team BDS out of this rut.
Misfits Gaming aren’t that much better
Misfits Gaming are, in no uncertain terms, in disastrous form. This was a team that finished in third place with 12 wins and six losses last season but have only registered one win so far this season. It’s hard to put it down to one thing but there must be a crisis of confidence at the moment. They went to the third round of the playoffs last time around. They’re clearly not as bad as they’ve shown themselves to be recently. They’ll be hoping that they can put the recent form behind them and go on a run starting from here. They won’t face too many sides worse than Team BDS on form at the moment, but they will have to sort out their defenses – they’ve had only 7.8 kills per game on average, versus an average of 17 deaths per game. That K/D ratio of 1.3 doesn’t look good, and neither does their gold differential per minute of -227.
Team BDS vs Misfits Gaming Betting Prediction
This prediction isn’t as straightforward as it should be. Despite Misfits Gaming’s poor form, I think they’ll get a hold of themselves eventually. A win here would just be the sort of jolt that they need to get their season back on track.
The fact that BDS Gaming don’t pose as much of a threat as they usually do is a big reason why sticking with the safe option here is for the best.
