With this announcement, Munchkin has reunited with his former teammates: coach Yoon “Autumn” Eu-ddeum and Son “xeta” Seon-ho. The last time the three players were on the same roster was in 2020 on Cloud9 Korea during the early stages of the Valorant competitive scene. Due to Riot Games implementing policies restricting the number of rosters an organization can have competing in the VCT, Munchkin departed to the Japanese region and competed under the Crazy Raccoon banner.
Munchkin’s has had a lot of success in the Japanese region and represented Japan internationally during the 2021 VCT season. Despite announcing his departure from the Crazy Racoon organization in December 2021, Munchkin decided to return to the roster and compete in JP Challengers 1, where they would eventually fall to ZETA DIVISION in the Grand Finals, failing to qualify for Masters 1 in 2022. After the disappointing run, Munchkin announced his departure from the Crazy Raccoon roster for the second time and signed to T1.
The roster of T1 as of now:
- Joshua “steel” Nissan
- Son “xeta” Seon-ho
- Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom
- Zander “thwifo” Kim
- Josh “pwny” VanGorder
- Yoon “Autumn” Eu-ddeum (Head Coach)
- Dakota “Stunner” MacLeod (Assistant Coach)
